- Cover and cook on Low heat setting 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until mixture is melted and hot. Dip will hold on Low heat setting up to 2 hours. Serve with bread.

I got this chipped beef dip from a neighbor several years ago. Served with crackers, it makes a great snack. I also serve it with raw veggies as an appetizer or on crusty bread with a salad for a light meal.
