"After a card game one evening, our hostess served graham crackers spread with prepared strawberry cream cheese," writes Carol Gaus of Itasca, Illinois. "The flavor combination was delicious. So I decided to make a similar blend using fresh berries. Guests appreciate this simple snack."

Steps:
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, honey and vanilla until smooth. Add strawberries; beat for 1 minute. Serve with graham crackers.

CREAM CHEESE FRUIT DIP
A cream cheese dip that's loved by all (unless they're counting calories)! You can substitute reduced-fat cream cheese if you wish. It's been my favorite since it was shared with me in college! Enjoy with apples, bananas, oranges, pears, pineapple, strawberries, etc.

Steps:
- Beat cream cheese in a stand mixer until whipped; add brown sugar and vanilla extract. Continue beating until dip is well mixed.

FRENCH TOAST FILLED WITH STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE
Steps:
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, strawberry preserves, and orange zest until smooth. Set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and orange liqueur. Pour into a shallow bowl, such as a pie plate. Set aside.
- With a pairing knife, slice a pocket into the side of the bread. Do not cut all of the way through the bread. Fill bread slices with a heaping spoonful of cream cheese mixture.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Dip the filled bread in the egg mixture and place in the skillet to brown on both sides, about 1 to 2 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining slices.
- Serve hot with additional Strawberry Cream Cheese on the side.
- Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse to combine.

There seems to be a general consensus that as it is it is bland but can be the basis for many different varities using different herbs and spices, examples given have been chives, basil or oregano.
