CINNAMON-RAISIN APPLE CRISP PIE
Golden raisins provide a delicate sweetness in a tasty apple pie made easily in a frozen pie crust.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 400°F. Place cookie sheet on oven rack.
- In large bowl, stir together granulated sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, the cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in apples and raisins; toss to coat. Spoon into frozen pie crust.
- In medium bowl, mix topping ingredients except walnuts with pastry blender or fork until crumbly; stir in walnuts. Sprinkle over filling.
- Bake on cookie sheet 20 minutes. Place sheet of foil over pie to prevent excessive browning. Bake 20 to 30 minutes longer or until filling is bubbly and topping is golden brown. Cool at least 30 minutes before serving.

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix flour, oats, 2 Tbsp. of the brown sugar and 1/4 tsp. of the cinnamon in medium bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside.
- Mix water, remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar, the raisins, tapioca, remaining 1 tsp. cinnamon and the nutmeg in large saucepan. Stir in apples. Cook on medium heat until mixture comes to full boil, stirring constantly. Pour into 8-inch square baking dish; sprinkle with flour mixture.
- Bake 30 to 35 min. or until juices form bubbles that burst slowly.

- Preheat oven to 375°F. Butter 9 x 13 1/2-inch glass baking dish.
- For Topping:
- Mix old-fashioned oats, brown sugar, all purpose flour, ground cinnamon and salt in large bowl. Add unsalted butter and rub into mixture until coarse crumbs form. Mix in chopped walnuts.
- For Filling:
- Combine sliced apples, raisins, sugar, fresh lemon juice, flour and ground cinnamon in large bowl. Mix well to blend. Transfer apple-raisin filling to prepared dish. Spread topping over. Bake until topping is golden brown, about 55 minutes. Serve crisp warm with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
EASY CINNAMON APPLE RAISIN BREAD
This is an easy and delicious bread to prepare. Even better you only need one mixing bowl because you can throw all of the ingredients right in! Feel free to tweak the ingredients to your liking...add more cinnamon...add nuts, etc. I hope you enjoy it! Edited: I have also tried out the bread by using 1/2 whole wheat pastry flour and 1/2 regular flour, a tbl of wheat germ and less sugar to make it a tiny bit "healthier". It came out just as nice as the original.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Take peeled and chopped apples and place them in a micowave safe bowl.
- Add water to the apples and microwave for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.
- Combine apples and all remaining ingriendients and mix thoroughly.
- Pour mixture into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 1 hr to 1 hr 15 minutes.
- When done let sit for 15 mins before removing from pan and placing on a wire rack.

CINNAMON APPLE CRISP
A perfect, basic apple crisp recipe. Add raisins or cranberries if you like. I use Granny Smith apples but you can use whatever kind you've got.

Steps:
- Preaheat oven to 350 F.
- In a large bowl squeeze lemon juice over sliced apples.
- Add the arrow root and spices making sure all apples are coated.
- Move apple mixture to the baking dish and drizzle the maple syrup over it.
- Cover with tin foil and bake for 35 minutes.
- Meanwhile prepare the topping.
- Sift dry ingredients together, and in a seperate bowl, mix wet ingredients well.
- Fold wet into dry mixing with a fork as you go along, until well coated and crumbly.
- When apples are done baking, remove from oven and toss, then flatten them evenly with the back of a spatula or wooden spoon.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apple mixture and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until top feels crispy.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
