3 cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups milk
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup butter, melted
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 cups confectioners' sugar
5 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Mix 3 cups flour, milk, white sugar, eggs, baking powder, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, and salt together in a large bowl until well-combined. Stir in 1/4 cup melted butter. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Beat 1 cup softened butter, brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and cinnamon together in a large bowl until smooth. Drop by spoonfuls over the batter in the baking pan. Swirl the top layer into the bottom layer with a knife to create a marble effect.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out nearly clean, 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Mix confectioners' sugar, milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth. Drizzle over warm cake.

Ingredients:
3 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup butter, melted
Topping:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
5 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare a 9 x 13 baking pan (buttered). Mix all of the base ingredients together, with the exception of the butter. Add the melted butter last, and then pour into your prepared pan, Mix all of the topping ingredients together in a separate bowl. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonful over the base, as evenly as you can over the entire base. Take a butter knife and swirl the topping into the base. Pop into the oven and bake for 28-30 minutes. While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze and set aside. Remove from oven and glaze the cake while still warm.

1 cup butter, softened (not margarine)
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2/3 cup nuts (optional)
2 cups powdered sugar
5 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • n an electric or stand mixer mix the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, milk, eggs and vanilla.
  • Once combined well, slowly stir in melted butter. (1 stick).
  • Pour batter into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix the 2 sticks of softened butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nuts until well combined.
  • Drop evenly over cake batter by the tablespoonfuls and use a knife to marble/swirl through the cake.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes in a 350 degree oven or until toothpick comes out nearly clean from center.
  • Place powdered sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl.
  • Whisk until smooth.
  • Drizzle over warm cake.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.

If you love cinnamon buns and cheesecake, this is perfect for you. It takes time to make, but is worth it. My daughter swears by this cheesecake, saying it's one of the best I've made so far.

1 pkg pillsbury cinnabon buns, halved vertically
4 8 oz pkgs cream cheese, softened
1-1/2 c sugar
5 large eggs
1 8 oz container sour cream, i used lite sour cream
1/4 c flour
1 Tbsp vanilla
3 oz cream cheese, softened
3 Tbsp butter, softened
1 c powdered sugar
1 Tbsp milk
2 Tbsp packed dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp butter, softened
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. Position oven racks in center and lower 3rd of oven. Place lg roasting pan filled 1/2 way w/ water, on lower rack. Heat oven to 325. Spray a 9" springform pan w/ cooking spray. Line bottom of pan w/ cut cinnamon buns, cut sides down.
  • 2. In lg bowl, w/ mixer on med-high, beat 4 pkgs, 8 oz each cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add sour cream, flour & vanilla. Beat until combined. Pour over buns in pan. Bake on center rack for 1 hr. Turn oven off. Leave cheesecake in oven w/ door closed for 1 hr. Remove and cool completely.
  • 3. In bowl, w/ mixer on med-high, beat 3 oz cream cheese and butter until blended. Gradually beat in powdered sugar, then milk until fluffy. reserve. In small microwave-safe bowl, mix brown sugar, butter and cinnamon until blended. Microwave on high 15 seconds, stirring until melted. Cool slightly. Top cooled cheesecake w/ reserved topping and drizzle brown sugar melt over topping.

1 1/2 c finely crushed Mother's Iced Oatmeal cookies or any spice cookie
1/4 c butter, melted
2 T brown sugar
Filling:
3 8-oz packages cream cheese, softened
1 c sugar
1/2 c sour cream or whipping cream
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 c flour
1 c coarsely chopped cookies (same kind as above)
1 c raisins (optional)
1/4 c butterscotch or caramel sundae topping
1 tsp cinnamon mixed with 1/4 c sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325. Place a pan of water on the bottom rack. For crust, mix cookie crumbs, butter and brown sugar and press into the bottom of an 8-inch springform pan. Spray the sides of the pan with non-stick cooking spray. For filling, blend cream cheese, sugar and sour cream until smooth, scraping bottom and sides of bowl, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in eggs, vanilla and flour and blend well, 2-3 minutes. Spoon 1/3 of filling into pan and top with half of each chopped cookies and raisins. Drizzle on some butterscotch topping. Dust on some cinnamon sugar mixture. Pour on another 1/3 of cream cheese mixture and other layers. Add last bit of cream cheese filling and finish top of cake with cookies and cinnamon sugar. Bake 50-55 minutes or until cheesecake is set about 2 inches from the side and wiggles slightly in the center. Turn oven off, leave door open and let cheesecake cool until you can take it out of the oven without oven mitts. Leave cheesecake on the counter until it's room temperature, then refrigerate overnight. Serve with whipped cream and butterscotch topping.
