SPICED OATMEAL COOKIES
I'm the fourth generation of cooks in my family to bake these cookies. When my grandmother sent me a batch for my birthday one year, I asked her for the recipe. That's when I learned it was originally my great-grandmother's recipe. It's one that I will definitely make sure gets passed on! -Loretta Pakulski, Indian River, Michigan

My three sisters like the combination of chocolate and orange as much as I do, so we all really savor these beautiful cookies. The candied orange peel on top is a special twist. -Ruth Rumple, Rockford, Ohio

ORANGE SPICED OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES
I got this recipe from a friend of mine. We think these cookies are delicious! A nice hint of orange to an oatmeal cookie! I usually double this recipe, and (if I'm feeling nutty! I'll add some chopped pecans! (Prep time does not include soaking the raisins overnight in the liqueur.)

CHOCO-ORANGE SPICED OATMEAL COOKIES
A hearty, lightly spiced chocolate chip oatmeal cookie. This is a stiff dough with lots of texture that appears slightly dry in the bowl. I had no problem with it holding together, but if it's too dry, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk to bring back some of the "stickiness." Great with coffee.

CHOCOLATE CHIP ORANGE OATMEAL COOKIES
You might call these Slightly Adult cookies as they have a taste that is a bit more sophisticated. I made 3 batches for neighbors Welcome Home Tea (She has been in the hospital). The 4 kids seemed to think they were ok and preferred other items while the adults cleaned up the tray. I used Bittersweet chocolate.
