ICED MELON MOROCCAN MINT TEA
I grow mint on my balcony, and this refreshing beverage is a wonderful way to use it. It combines two of my favorite drinks-Moroccan Mint Tea and Honeydew Agua Fresca. For extra flair, add some ginger ale. -Sarah Batt Throne, El Cerrito, California

ICED DOUBLE MINT TEA
I grew up drinking fresh mint teas. My Grandpa (Eugene) Campbell would grow fresh peppermint and spearmint every year. We always had it prepared hot; however, now I also enjoy drinking it cold just as much. He had an ulcer most of his life and these mint teas really helped his stomach. I too have tummy problems and so I drink...

Steps:
- 1. Prepare tea hot and let it steep with about 10 of the fresh mint leaves dropped down in the tea for about 20 - 30 minutes. The longer the steep the stronger the flavor. [If using more mint leaves than suggested this tea can have natural laxative effect.]
- 2. Next, fill your glass container with ice. Now add the rest of the fresh mint leaves and pour the hot tea over the ice. Let sit at least 5 minutes.
- 3. Ready to serve. (Tonight, I served mine with grapes, sliced strawberries and cheesy crisps). Enjoy. Here is link for my cheesy crispies. https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/appetizer/cheese-appetizer/cheezy-crispies.html?p=16
- 4. If you don't want a STRONG mint flavor just add the mint leaves to the ice and omit it from the hot tea.
