CREAMY GARLIC CHICKEN WITH THYME
The BEST garlic chicken! Tender chicken breasts served in a mouth-watering garlic cream sauce with lightly caramelized onions and fragrant thyme are a winning dinner, every time!

Steps:
- Slice each chicken breast in half lengthwise so you have 4 thin pieces. Sprinkle both sides of each piece lightly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Warm the olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the butter melts, add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until it forms a nice golden crust and is cooked through. Remove chicken to a plate and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Add the onion and cook for 2-3 minutes. Using the back of a knife, smash half of the garlic cloves, then add both the smashed and whole cloves to the pan with the onions. Cook 2-3 minutes more, until the garlic is fragrant and lightly browned on the outside, then add chicken broth, lemon juice, and thyme. Scrape the bottom of the pan to deglaze any browned bits, and let the sauce simmer for about 4 minutes. It should be noticeably reduced.
- Reduce heat again to medium-low, then stir in the cream. Return chicken to the skillet and let everything simmer gently for 2-3 minutes to blend the flavors. Garnish with fresh thyme and parsley, lemon wedges, and a little more black pepper, as desired. Serve and enjoy!

JENNIE'S HEAVENLY SLOW COOKER CHICKEN
This is the best chicken slow cooker recipe ever, and I've tried a lot of them. I can't remember where I originally got it from; my version has been tweaked a little. I don't like mushrooms, but the mushrooms in the condensed soup are really big and easy to take out. Serve over hot cooked rice.

- Sprinkle garlic and thyme over chicken. Place chicken in crock pot.
- Pour orange juice and vinegar over chicken.
- Cover and cook on low 5 hours, high 2 1/2 hours.
- Remove chicken from crock pot and put on a platter.
- Skim off fat from cooking juices.
- Strain juice in saucepan, bring to boil, reduce heat to simmer and reduce juice to 1 cup.
- Serve in a bowl with spoon for chicken and serve.

CREAMY CROCKPOT CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES
Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken, skin-side down, just until the skin is browned and lightly crispy. Set aside.
- In a 4- to 5-quart slow cooker , add the potatoes, carrots, onion, and garlic to the inner pot. Top with the browned chicken.
- Pour the chicken broth over top. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours until chicken is thoroughly cooked to 165 F and the vegetables are tender.
- In a small bowl, stir together the light sour cream, mustard, honey, flour, and thyme until well blended.
- Stir the sour cream mixture into the sauce in the crock pot and turn the heat to high. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce is thickened.

THE CREAMIEST CROCK POT CHICKEN
This is one of my favorite crock pot recipes. The sauce is rich and creamy, almost like an alfredo. It is perfect over pasta or even rice. Be sure to make extra bread sticks to dunk in this delicious sauce! I prefer a richer sauce, so I use cream cheese instead of sour cream. I like to dice up the chicken into bite-sized pieces, but it's good either way. Enjoy!

- Place chopped onion and half of the wine into the bottom of the crock-pot. Add chicken, with half of the salt and half of the pepper, and the thyme sprigs. Add half of of the wine. Cover and cook on low setting 5-6 hours or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken to warm plate. Combine remaining ingredients in crock-pot, simmer on high setting about 5 minutes. Return chicken to crock-pot, lower cook setting to low and heat for about 15 minutes. Serve.
