Cherry Filled Heart Shaped Pies Recipes
HEART SHAPED CHERRY HAND PIES
These Heart-Shaped Cherry Hand Pies are the perfect snack. Each hand pie is filled with sweet cherry pie filling sandwiched in between a flaky pie crust, then baked to perfection.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Unroll pie crust and use the heart cookie cutter to cut out eight heart shapes into the pie crusts.
- Place four of the pie crusts on an ungreased baking sheet and place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center of eachheart.
- Top each pie crust with another heart. Use a fork to seal the edges together.
- Cut slits in the top of each crust.
- Use a pastry brush to brush egg on top of each pie, then sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake pies in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until pie crusts are golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before serving.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 400°F. Unroll pie crusts; use rolling pin to slightly roll dough out.
- Use 3-inch diameter round cutter to cut 12 circles from dough. Use small heart-shaped cutter to cut 12 hearts from remaining dough, rerolling scraps as needed.
- Press circles into 12 ungreased regular-size muffin cups; fill with pie filling. Top each with heart-shaped cutout.
- In small bowl, beat egg and water. Brush over crust on each.
- Bake about 20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
