Garlic and ranch flavored turkey burgers are a quick and delicious recipe for families on the go.

1 pound ground turkey
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
1 egg
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
seasoned salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
  • Knead together the turkey, ranch mix, egg, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly combined; divide into 4 equal portions and form into patties.
  • Cook on the preheated grill about 5 minutes per side for well done. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

This burger is tasty and the shredded cheese gives it a great flavor. I've used cheddar cheese, co-jack, or a Mexican cheese mixture. You may need more breadcrumbs, depending on how moist your turkey is. I like to serve this with Veganaise or mayo on the side.

1 lb ground turkey
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
salt
pepper

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together in large bowl. Add more bread crumbs if necessary. Should form a firm ball. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Shape into six patties, not too thin.
  • Pan-fry, broil, or grill inside or out until lightly browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.

½ cup lightly packed shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
2 tablespoons Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing
1 green onion with top, thinly sliced
1 pound ground turkey
1 pinch salt and black pepper
8 slice (1/4" thick) (blank)s slices French bread (each 1/4 -inch thick)
1 teaspoon olive oil or melted butter

Steps:

  • Combine cheese, dressing, onion and in a small bowl; set aside. Shape turkey into 4 patties about 1/2-inch thick. Season patties with salt and pepper.
  • Oil hot grid to help prevent sticking. Grill turkey, on covered grill, over medium Kingsford® briquets, 12 to 16 minutes until burgers are cooked through, turning once. Spoon cheese topping on burgers 3 to 4 minutes before removing from grill. Cheese should melt slightly. Move cooked burgers to edge of grill to keep warm. Brush bread lightly with oil. Grill bread, oil side down, until lightly toasted. Serve burgers on bread.
  • Serve turkey burgers as you would hamburgers, with condiments, such as lettuce leaves and sliced tomatoes.
