ARTICHOKE CRESCENT APPETIZERS

Steps:
- Unroll crescent dough and press onto the bottom and 1/2 in. up the sides of an ungreased 13x9-in. baking dish; seal seams and perforations. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375° until lightly browned, 8-10 minutes., Meanwhile, in a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and egg until smooth. Stir in dill and seasoned salt. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with artichokes, green onions and pimientos. , Bake until edges are golden brown, 15-20 minutes. Cut into 24 pieces.

CHEESY ARTICHOKE SQUARES
This is an old family favourite. I can't remember where I got the recipe, but I have been making these squares for 25 years. These spicy squares are excellent served hot or cold. If you are not a fan of alot of herbs, than please, add the amount you would prefer, this dish is very versatile.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Drain juice from one jar of artichokes into frying pan.
- Sauté onion and garlic in the artichoke juice, simmer and cool.
- Chop artichokes and mix with the cooled onions and garlic.
- Combine artichoke mixture, breadcrumbs, cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, parsley, oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary and Tabasco sauce together until well blended.
- Pour the artichoke mixture into a greased 8x8-inch or 9x9-inch pan.
- Bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes.
- Let cool 5 minutes; cut and enjoy.
CHEESY ARTICHOKE CROSTINI

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the baguette slices on the lined baking sheet. Bake until starting to crisp but not totally toasted, about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the cheeses, parsley, lemon zest and anchovy paste. Spread 1 tablespoon of the mixture onto the center of each baguette slice, being sure to leave a border of clean bread surrounding the cheese (it will spread as it melts in the oven). Place an artichoke heart in the center of each and set back on the baking sheet. Sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon of grated Parmesan over each artichoke heart.
- Bake until the Parmesan is melted, about 10 minutes. Serve warm.
BAKED ARTICHOKE APPETIZER
This is a yummy favourite of mine to serve as part of pre-dinner munchies, or as a snack to a group of friends (it also doubles well). I found it many years ago in Out of This World CookBook II. Credit for the recipe goes to Virginia Prentice.

- Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
- Spray a 4-cup casserole dish with Pam, or lightly grease it; set aside.
- Chop drained artichokes and place in a mixing bowl.
- Add all other ingredients and combine; put mixture into casserole dish.
- Bake in preheated oven until hot and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
- Serve with crackers, melba toast, or your favourite dippers.

- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and transfer into an an oven safe casserole dish. Heat at 350 degrees for about 20 min until bubbly. Serves best on Pepperidge Farm Distinctive Crackers, but I have used Bagel Chips, Crostini, Butter Crackers, etc.
- This recipe can also be cooked in a crock pot on high for one hour, then turn down to warm until the guests arrive.

- Pour marinade from 1 jar of artichoke hearts in skillet, heat and saute onion and garlic.
- Chop artichokes from each jar and set aside.

- Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, stir Bisquick mix and mozzarella cheese until thoroughly combined. Stir in water and oil until dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Let stand 8 minutes.
- Using hands dipped in additional Bisquick mix, press dough in bottom and up sides of pan. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until crust is puffed and top edges are just starting to brown.
- Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix all remaining ingredients except artichokes. Stir in artichokes. Evenly spread mixture over partially baked crust.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated and crust is golden brown.
- Set oven control to broil. Broil with top of pan 6 inches from heat 2 to 3 minutes or until filling is golden brown. Cool 10 minutes. Cut into 8 rows by 6 rows.

- Heat butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. When it foams, add onion and garlic, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, and cook until onion and garlic are beginning to turn brown in color, about 6 minutes.
