Steps:
- Set the oven rack to the lower position. Preheat to 500ºF (260ºC).
- Allow the pizza dough to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Lightly brush a large baking sheet with olive oil. Evenly sprinkle cornmeal on the pan if desired.
- On a lightly floured surface, stretch and shape the dough into a 10-inch circle.
- Transfer dough to the baking sheet. Use fingers to press into a 12-inch circle. Leave the edges slightly thicker, about ½-inch tall and wide.
- Brush some olive oil on the edges of the dough to make the crust crispier when baked.
- Spread the sauce on top, followed by the cheese, ham, pineapple, and bacon. Sprinkle the oregano on top.
- Bake the pizza on the lowest oven rack until the crust is golden brown, and the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 10 to 12 minutes.
- Slice and serve pizza immediately when still hot.

Steps:
- Prepare the pizza dough through step 5, including preheating the oven to 475°F (246°C) as described in step 4.
- Lift the edge of the dough up to create a lip around the edges. Arrange the string cheese around the edges of the crust, leaving a 3/4 inch space. Fold the edges of the dough over the string cheese, pinching down to seal. Do your best to completely seal the string cheeses inside. Let the dough rest for a couple minutes if you're having trouble sealing it completely.
- Top with pizza sauce, the mozzarella cheese, then the pepperoni. Sprinkle lightly with seasoning.
- Bake for 14-16 minutes or until the crust is lightly browned and the cheese is bubbling. For the last minute, I move the oven rack to the top rack to really brown the edges. That's optional. Remove from the oven. Slice pizza and serve immediately.
- Store leftover pizza covered tightly in the refrigerator and reheat as you prefer. Baked pizza slices can be frozen up to 1 month.
CHEESE-STUFFED HAWAIIAN PIZZA
From Taste of Home's "Cooking for 2", a good, quick & easy recipe with lots of possibilities. I used deli ham and a mix of cheddar, monteray jack and mozzarella cheeses. Recipe says it yields 2 servings but I managed to eat most of it myself! Enjoy!

THREE CHEESE STUFFED BANANA PEPPERS
This is a meat-free stuffed pepper recipe that is great with spaghetti or any other pasta. I use hot banana peppers because they add great flavor and fire to the sauce, but I'm sure mild banana peppers could be substituted for the faint-of-heart!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix the three cheeses in a medium-sized bowl.
- Prepare the peppers by cutting off tops and carefully scraping out the seeds with a knife (try not to poke holes in the peppers).
- Stuff each pepper with the cheese mixture, using the end of a spoon or your finger to pack the cheeses tightly.
- After all the peppers are stuffed, pour a small amount of the sauce into a baking dish (I use a 9"x9" dish), coating the bottom.
- Arrange the stuffed peppers into a single layer in the bottom of the dish (it's OK to lay a few on top if you run out of room in the dish).
- If you had any remaining cheese mixture left, you may sprinkle it on top of the peppers now or simply freeze it for next time.
- Pour the remaining spaghetti sauce on top of the peppers, covering them completely.
- Bake, covered, for 30-40 minutes, or until peppers are soft and sauce is nice and bubbly (it may take longer if the peppers have thick flesh).
- Serve with spaghetti or other pasta.
- NOTE: Measurements for the cheeses are approximate; you may adjust the amounts and types of cheeses to your own taste.

- Prepare pizza dough through step 5, including preheating the oven to 475°F (246°C). Cover the shaped dough lightly with plastic wrap and allow it to rest as the oven preheats.
- To prevent the pizza toppings from making your pizza crust soggy, brush the shaped dough lightly with olive oil. Using your fingers, push dents into the surface of the dough to prevent bubbling. Top the dough evenly with pizza sauce, then add the cheese, ham, pineapple, and bacon.
- Bake pizza for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil, if desired. Slice hot pizza and serve immediately.
- Cover leftover pizza tightly and store in the refrigerator. Reheat as you prefer. Baked pizza slices can be frozen up to 3 months. See pizza crust recipe for instructions on freezing the pizza dough.
