Canned Ham Recipes From Hormel

This is so good with chicken-n-a-bisquit crackers!

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

2 can(s) if using small cans use 1 with large can hormel chuck ham
8 oz cream cheese softened
1/2 tsp parsley flakes
1 tsp mustard
1/2 c mayonnaise
2 Tbsp finely minced onion
1 Tbsp texas pete, more or less to taste

Steps:

1. Break canned ham up with a fork. Mix in room temperature cream cheese and mix well. Add the other ingredients and mix well. Best if sits overnight if you can wait that long!

The ingredients in this recipe I never vary. They are what give it that "splendid" flavor. Great for sandwiches and as a cracker spread for hors d'eouvres. Or spread on Melba toast rounds and top with a slice of hard-boiled egg for a dainty brunch treat.

Ingredients

1 small can hormel smoked ham (5 oz.)
3-4 Tbsp duke's regular mayonnaise
3-4 Tbsp chopped sweet pickle or relish
3 large chopped spanish green olives, stuffed with pimento

Steps:

1. Break ham up in a large mixing bowl and mash with a fork.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients, adjusting mayonnaise to your taste. Blend well. Refrigerate any leftovers.
