I got the recipe for this wonderful no-bake treat from my mother-in-law because it's my husband's favorite. I'm frequently asked to bring it to get-togethers where it's always a hit. -Linda Winter, Enid, Oklahoma

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup crushed Ritz crackers (about 30 crackers)
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
4 Butterfinger candy bars (2.1 ounces each), crushed
3/4 cup butter, melted
1-1/2 cups cold whole milk
2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 quart reduced-fat chocolate frozen yogurt, softened
1 carton (12 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first four ingredients; set aside 1/2 cup for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. dish. Chill for 5 minutes., Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mixes for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until set (mixture will be thick). Stir in frozen yogurt and 1 cup whipped topping until smooth. Spread over crust. , Top with remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

8 oz whipped cream, sweetened
2 standard size butterfingers candy bars crushed (save a small amount to garnish)
2 3oz boxes of chocolate pudding
3 1/2 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. Mix pudding and milk. Add the candy bars. place in the refridgerator to set. About 5 minutes
  • 2. Top pudding with whipped cream and garnish with the remaining candy bar crumbs!

My boys went through a phase where they loved Butterfingers. We made Butterfinger shakes, muffins, cookies and experimented with different bars; this one was voted the best of the bunch. 1 package dark chocolate cake mix (regular size)
1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup 2% milk
1/3 cup canola oil
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 large eggs, divided use
6 Butterfinger candy bars (1.9 ounces each), divided
1-1/2 cups chunky peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine cake mix and pudding mix. In another bowl, whisk milk, oil, butter and 1 egg until blended. Add to dry ingredients; stir just until moistened. Press half of the mixture into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake until top appears dry, 6-8 minutes., Meanwhile, chop 2 candy bars. Stir peanut butter, vanilla and remaining egg into remaining cake mix mixture. Fold in chopped bars and 1 cup chocolate chips., Chop 3 additional candy bars; sprinkle over warm crust and press down gently. Cover with cake mix mixture; press down firmly with a metal spatula. Crush remaining candy bar; sprinkle crushed bar and remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips over top., Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 20-25 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Store in an airtight container.

4 crushed butterfinger candy bars
1 cup crushed saltine
1 cup crushed graham cracker
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
3 (3 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding
2 cups cold milk
4 cups vanilla ice cream
1 (9 ounce) carton whipped topping

Steps:

  • Crust: Mix together--candy bars, saltines, graham crackers sugar and butter.
  • Press into a 9x13 pan.
  • Save 1 cup of this mixture.
  • Filling: Beat pudding and milk together until a thick cream.
  • Add ice cream and beat until smooth.
  • Pour over crust and level.
  • Cover with whipped topping.
  • Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top.
  • Refrigerate.

Vegetable oil, water and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 container (12 oz) Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 boxes (4-serving size each) Jell-O™ chocolate instant pudding and pie filling mix
3 cups cold milk
3 Butterfinger™ candy bars (1.9 oz each), unwrapped, chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Make and bake cookies as directed on pouch. Cool completely, at least 30 minutes.
  • In food processor, process half of the cookies to coarse crumbs. Remove to medium bowl. Continue to process second half of remaining cookies to coarse crumbs; add to bowl. Stir in melted butter until well blended. In ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish, press cookie crumb mixture firmly in bottom. Set aside.
  • In medium bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter and powdered sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended, scraping down sides of bowl frequently. Beat in 2 cups of the whipped topping. Spread over cookie crust.
  • In another medium bowl, beat dry pudding mix and milk with whisk about 2 minutes or until thick. Spread over cream cheese mixture. Spread remaining whipped topping over top of pudding layer. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours.
  • When ready to serve, sprinkle chopped candy bars on top. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Cover and refrigerate any remaining dessert.

I love this recipe! I've been making it since I was in my 20's: a long time ago! It is so quick, easy, and delicious! Another plus is it requires just a few ingredients and no turning on the oven or stove! Great for summer! Hope you enjoy!

1 stick butter
3 egg yolks
16 oz cool whip
2 c confectioners' sugar
1 angel food cake
6 butterfinger candy bars full size

Steps:

  • 1. Tear angel food cake into bite size pieces in bottom of 9 x 13 pan.
  • 2. Melt butter. Set aside.
  • 3. Separate yolks and save your whites for another use, if desired (whites can be frozen).
  • 4. Mix yolks, confectioners sugar & butter .
  • 5. Add cool whip and mix well.
  • 6. Pour over cake pieces.
  • 7. Crush candy bars and sprinkle over top.
  • 8. Refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.
  • 9. Note: use pasteurized eggs since they won't be cooked. That's what most of us buy at the store anyway.
