BUTTERBALL COOKIES OR AKA WEDDING COOKIES

Butterball Cookies or aka Wedding Cookies image

This is an old standby recipe that I make for any occasion. They are so good and easy to make, You can change the recipe to Lemon butter cookies or Key Lime butter cookies, simply by deleting the vanilla and adding lemon or key lime juice instead, or be creative and come up with something entirely different. Such a versatile recipe, and I love the flavor...Enjoy!

ITALIAN WEDDING COOKIES III

Italian Wedding Cookies III image

Also sometimes called 'Mexican wedding cookie', 'Russian tea cakes', or 'butterballs', can also be made into crescents. You can also substitute pecans and they are very good as well. This is the best version of these I have ever seen, it was given me by a friend who grew up in central Europe.
