These Buffalo Wing Pretzel Sticks are the perfect snack to enjoy while watching the game!

1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (I used Frank's)
1/2 cup butter
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic owder
1 tsp seasoned salt (I used Lawry's)
16 oz pretzel sticks (1 bag )
blue cheese dressing for dipping
celery and carrots (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300°F.
  • Line a jelly roll pan or two baking sheets with parchment paper
  • Melt wing sauce, butter and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Stir in onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoned salt and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
  • Empty bag of pretzels into in a large bowl.
  • Drizzle pretzels with wing sauce mixture and toss with tongs until evenly coated.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for dipping, if you like.

Buffalo Pretzels, a fun twist on Buffalo Chicken Wings!

12 ounces pretzel rods ((1 bag - long rods))
1 cup Frank's hot sauce
1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1/2 cup vegetable oil ((or canola oil))
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 ounce Ranch seasoning mix
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
  • Place pretzel rods in resealable bag, and lightly tap with meat mallet to break into large pieces. Do in batches if necessary. Pour pretzels onto a large rimmed cookie sheet or in large baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together hot sauce, butter, oil, Worcestershire sauce, Ranch, garlic, and onion until well combined. Drizzle over pretzels and gently toss pretzels to combine.
  • Bake pretzels at 250 degrees F for 90 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely.

2 soft pretzels
1 cup chicken breast, shredded
1/2 cup celery, diced
2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1/4 cup monterey jack cheese

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the chicken breast, celery, light mayonnaise, and hot sauce. Divide the mixture evenly between the two pretzels, spreading to coat the top of the pretzel. This is easier if your pretzels don't have giant holes in them. Top with the monterey jack cheese, and broil for 4-5 minutes, until the chicken mixture is warmed through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (5 ounces each)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 eggs
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
3 tablespoons canola oil
1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce
1/4 cup shredded provolone cheese
1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Flatten chicken to 1/2-in. thickness. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs. Place bread crumbs in another shallow bowl. Dip chicken in eggs, then coat with bread crumbs., In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chicken in oil for 7-10 minutes on each side or until chicken juices run clear, adding wing sauce during the last 2 minutes. Turn to coat chicken. Sprinkle with cheeses. Cover and cook until cheese is melted.
