Number Of Ingredients 7

1/3 cup Blueberries , or any locally available berries
3 Tea bags
2 cups Water
1/4 cup Sugar , to taste
Lemon juice , from 2 lemons
Ice cubes
Lemon , sliced and mint to garnish

Steps:

  • To begin making the Blueberry And Lemon Iced Tea Recipe, in a saucepan, add the sugar, lemon juice and blueberries. Cook the berries on low heat until the sugar has dissolved and the blueberries are mushy.
  • Add the water to the above mixture and bring it to boil. Once the water comes to a boil, add the tea bags and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
  • Strain the entire mixture through a fine mesh sieve. Using the back of a spoon squeeze out the juices from the berries and the tea. Once all the juices have been extracted, pour the Blueberry And Lemon Iced Tea into a pitcher and refrigerate the tea for about an hour or more.
  • When you are ready to serve, pour the Blueberry And Lemon Iced Tea into the serving glasses, add a few ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves and sliced lemon.

4 cups sparkling water
2 cups regular water
1 cup lemon flavored ice tea mix
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups of crushed ice
lemons or lime slice

Steps:

  • Combine sparkling water, water, iced tea mix, and honey in a pitcher.
  • Take margarita glasses and rim in 1/4 cup of lemon juice.
  • Then rim the glasses with the sugar.
  • Fill your glasses with ice and pour in the iced tea.
  • Garnish with lemons or limes.

1/3 cup tightly packed torn fresh mint leaves
1 pkt. CRYSTAL LIGHT PURE Lemon Iced Tea Flavor Drink Mix
1 bottle (2 L) cold seltzer

Steps:

  • Combine blueberries, mint and drink mix in 2-qt. glass or plastic pitcher.
  • Use back of wooden spoon to muddle ingredients until blueberries are crushed and ingredients are well blended.
  • Add seltzer; stir until blended.
  • Serve immediately.

This is a nice refreshing drink for summer--we really like it. Cooking time does not include chill time.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (16 ounce) package frozen blueberries
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
4 cups water
3 family-size tea bags
3/4 cup sugar
ice

Steps:

  • Bring package of frozen blueberries and lemon juice to a boil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, and pour through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a bowl, using the back of a spoon to press out juice. Discard solids. Wipe saucepan clean.
  • Bring 4 cups water to boil in same saucepan;add 3 family size teabags, and let stand 5 minutes. Remove and discard teabags.
  • Stir in 3/4 cup sugar and blueberry juice mixture. Pour into pitcher;cover and chill 1 hour. Serve over ice.
