GROUND BEEF TACO SALAD

- In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the bean dip, chili powder, salt and tomato liquid. Remove from the heat., In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, onions and olives. Add beef mixture; toss to coat. Top with chips. Serve immediately.

BIRD'S ULTIMATE TACO SALAD
Another one of my creations that is always asked to make again and again. A definite kid pleaser, and guy pleaser as well. You can add additional items of your liking like black olives, guacamole, jalapenos, etc.

Steps:
- Onto two plates (or 1 if sharing a plate), arrange Doritos.
- Heat chili, and pour over doritos. Top with half the cheese, then lettuce, then tomatoes.
- Add a dollop of sour cream onto each serving, then sprinkle with remaining cheese and serve.

BEST TACO SALAD!
I got this recipe from a friend more than 20 years ago and it remains a family favorite espcially on hot summer days. I cook the beef early in the morning. Sometimes even chop all of the ingredients then, too, so all I have to do is throw everything together when it is time for dinner. Teenagers especially love this. That is a bonus! Have yet to find anyone who doesn't love this super easy salad for dinner.

Steps:
- Brown ground beef, drain grease, adding taco seasoning and following directions on package. Chill.
- When ground beef is cold, place in a large bowl and add all remaining ingredients.
- Mix well and serve.

Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 4-6 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Cool slightly., In a large bowl, toss lettuce with cheese. Top with beef mixture and chips; drizzle with dressing and toss to combine. Serve immediately.

- Mix lettuce, tomatoes and onion in a large salad bowl.
- Add cheese, crushed Doritos and the dressing.
- Add kidney beans to cooked hamburger and drain.
- Put on top of the salad.
- Decorate with sliced avocado and stand whole Doritos around the edge of the bowl.
