Easy Frappe Recipe image

This easy Frappe recipe is made with instant coffee, water, sugar and milk, and served over ice to keep your thirst quenched all summer long!

Number Of Ingredients 5

3/4 cup cold water
1-2 tablespoons cream** ((or milk, dairy free milk, more or less depending on your tastes))
3 teaspoons granulated sugar ((or to taste))
1-2 teaspoons instant coffee granules ((or instant espresso powder))
8 ice cubes ((about 1 cup))

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth and frothy.
  • Adjust flavor to your tastes and pour into a glass and serve (the froth will rise to the top as it sits).
  • Add water, cream, sugar and coffee to a 500ml jar and shake until coffee is dissolved and mixture is frothy.
  • Pour over ice and serve (the froth will rise to the top as it sits).

1 cup cut-up cantaloupe or honeydew melon
1 cup cut-up pineapple
1 cup cut-up mango
1 cup strawberry halves
1 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons sugar
Crushed ice

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients except ice and sliced pineapple. Fill blender one-half full with fruit mixture; add crushed ice to fill to top. Cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds until smooth. Repeat with remaining fruit mixture. Garnish with sliced pineapple. Serve immediately.

4 ounces fresh raspberries
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 cups milk
4 whole strawberries, for garnish

  • Place all the ingredients except garnish in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve in tall glasses with straws; garnish with a berry on the rim of each glass.

3 1/2 cups frozen unsweetened raspberries or 3 1/2 cups strawberries
12 ounces cream soda
8 ounces plain yogurt
1/2 cup thawed undiluted frozen lemonade concentrate
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups chilled club soda

Steps:

  • In container of electric blender, combine half of the raspberries, creme soda, yogurt,lemonade concentrate and sugar. Cover;blend until berries are pureed and sugar is dissolved.Pour mixture into a 13x9-inch pan.
  • Repeat process with the remaining ingredients.Pour into same pan. Cover; freeze 3 hours, or until firm.
  • Use a fork to break up frozen raspberry mixture.In container of electric blender,combine half of the frozen mixture and 1 cup club soda.
  • Cover;blend until frothy. Pour into chilled glasses.Repeat with remaining frozen mixture and remaining 1 cup club soda.
