When I married my husband this is the one thing he could cook, said it was his mom's go-to recipe. I added here & there and it's now my go to recipe on a busy night. It also freezes wonderfully, so once a month I make 2 or 3 to put in the freezer. Easy to double for an 9x13 pan.

Number Of Ingredients 6

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef, (i've also used turkey & pork)
2 can(s) cut green beans
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup (i have also used cheddar cheese soup, it's good too)
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 small bag tator tots (won't use all for 1 recipe)

Steps:

1. Preheat Oven to 375. Brown the beef in skillet.
2. In 8x8 pan mix all ingredients except tator tots. Add tator tots in rows until top is covered completly with tator tots.
3. Bake 35-45 minutes, or until the tator tots are browned and casserole is bubbly.
4. I serve with Green Tobasco sauce for the adults & ketchup for my daughter. Add a green salad & dinner is served!!

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 ounce chopped onion
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (14 ounce) can French style green beans
1/4 cup milk
4 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 (32 ounce) package frozen tater tots
salt
pepper

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Brown and drain ground beef and chopped onions.
Return ground beef to pan.
Mix in 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 can of French-style green beans (drained), milk, salt, and pepper.
In a small casserole dish, place mixture evenly spread on bottom of dish.
Evenly spread cheese on top.
Evenly spread tater tots on top of cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until tater tots are browned well.
