Grilled steak and chicken that doesn't dry out on the grill, but stays moist and flavorful. These kabobs are simple to make, and delicious to eat. Skewered meat with peppers, onions, and mushrooms in a honey teriyaki sauce.

Number Of Ingredients 10

½ cup teriyaki sauce
½ cup honey
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ pinch ground ginger
2 red bell peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces
1 large sweet onion, peeled and cut into wedges
1 ½ cups whole fresh mushrooms
1 pound beef sirloin, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into cubes
skewers

Steps:

  • In a large resealable plastic bag, mix the teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic powder, and ginger. Place red bell peppers, onion wedges, mushrooms, beef, and chicken in the bag with the marinade. Seal, and refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.
  • Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
  • Discard marinade, and thread the meat and vegetables onto skewers, leaving a small space between each item.
  • Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill skewers for 10 minutes, turning as needed, or until meat is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

2 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash® Original Seasoning Blend
1 lb. beef sirloin, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
1/4 red onion cut into wedges, then in half and separated
1/2 lb. whole mushrooms, stems removed and chopped
1 Tbsp. olive oil
cooking spray

Steps:

  • Low-Sodium Recipe
  • 1. Marinate the meat with Mrs. Dash® Original Seasoning Blend, garlic, onions and mushrooms for 30 minutes.
  • 2. Heat grill or cast iron grill plate. Spray with cooking spray.
  • 3. Skewer meat rotating with onion and mushroom. Brush with olive oil.
  • 4. Grill kabobs about 6-8 minutes to desired degree of doneness, brushing with any remaining marinade during cooking.

1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 whole cloves
Dash dried basil
2-1/2 pounds beef top sirloin steak, cut into 1-1/4 inch pieces
24 cherry tomatoes
24 large fresh mushrooms
1 large green or sweet red pepper, cut into 1-1/2-inch cubes
2 small zucchini squash, cut into 1-inch slices
1 medium onion, cut into wedges
Hot cooked rice

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine first seven ingredients; set aside. On metal or soaked wooden skewers, alternately thread meat and vegetables. , Place in a large glass dish. Pour marinade over kabobs; cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight, turning several times. Discard cloves., Grill over medium-hot heat until the meat reaches desired doneness and vegetables are tender. Serve with rice.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1-1/2 lb. beef sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
3 medium potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks, partially cooked
2 cups broccoli florets (1 inch)
2 cups navel orange sections, cut into 1-inch chunks
1 cup A.1. Original Sauce
4-1/2 cups hot cooked rice

Steps:

  • Preheat grill to medium heat. Thread steak, vegetables and oranges alternately onto 12 skewers; place in shallow dish.
  • Pour steak sauce over kabobs; turn over to evenly coat kabobs. Cover. Refrigerate 10 min. to marinate. Remove kabobs from marinade; discard marinade.
  • Grill kabobs 10 min. or until steak is cooked to medium doneness (160°F), turning occasionally. Serve over the rice.

1 bottle (8 ounces) French or Russian salad dressing
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 pound beef top sirloin steak, cut into 1-1/2-inch cubes
8 to 10 bacon strips, cut in half
1 sweet red pepper, cut into chunks
1 green pepper, cut into chunks
2 small zucchini squash, cut into chunks
8 medium fresh mushrooms
1 large onion, quartered, optional

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, whisk the first five ingredients. Place half of marinade in a large resealable plastic bag. Add beef; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. 1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon each dried marjoram, basil and oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 beef top sirloin steak (1-1/2 pounds), cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 pound whole fresh mushrooms
2 medium onions, cut into wedges
1-1/2 cups cherry tomatoes
2 small green peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, whisk oil, vinegar, ketchup, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Pour 1/2 cup marinade into a large resealable plastic bag. Add beef; seal bag and turn to coat. Pour remaining marinade into another large resealable plastic bag. Add mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and peppers; seal bag and turn to coat.
