FAVORITE BARBECUE SAUCE RECIPE
This is a favorite recipe of mine that I have used time and time again for chicken and ribs. Smokey sweet and not too thin, not too thick. I don't remember now where I got it, I've been using it for a few years.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a large saucepan over medium heat, mix together the ketchup, tomato sauce, brown sugar, wine vinegar, molasses, liquid smoke and butter. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, celery seed, cinnamon, cayenne, salt and pepper.
- Reduce heat to low, and simmer for up to 20 minutes. For thicker sauce, simmer longer, and for thinner, less time is needed.

MY FAVORITE BARBECUE SAUCE
I love this sauce. It goes well on most everything and it is a sauce that most everyone loves. It's easy to make and if you triple the recipe, ladle it hot into pint jars and process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes, it makes 6 pints that stores for years.

- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Mix well.
- Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture is heated through, stirring often. Use on just about anything or refrigerate. It also cans great.
