CINNAMON APPLESAUCE BREAD

Steps:
- Beat egg, applesauce, brown sugar, milk and oil together in bowl. Add flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and mix until all ingredients are wet. Fold in half the walnuts and the raisins.
- Pour into a 9 x 5 loaf pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Sprinkle the rest of the walnuts on top of the batter. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 55 to 60 minutes.
- Cool in pan at least 10 minutes.
QUICK APPLESAUCE RAISIN BREAD
This is a quick way to make a moist and yummy raisin bread. The longer it sits, the better it gets!! This freezes well after it is baked.

Steps:
- In mixing bowl beat eggs, add sugar,applesauce,oil,cinnamon,and vanilla. Beat until mixed.
- Add bisquick and mix well.
- Stir in raisins and pour into prepared loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 until top springs back when touched.
- This rises a lot and the top usually splits.
- Wrap in foil while warm.
APPLESAUCE BREAD
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 °F. Cream butter and brown sugar. Add the remaining ingredients except raisins and nuts. Mix well until blended. Stir in raisins and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 8 x 4 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.

- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the egg and applesauce; mix well. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cloves. Stir into creamed mixture just until moistened. Fold in raisins and nuts. , Pour into a greased 8x4-in. loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, then grease & flour one 9 inch loaf pan.
- Soak raisins in brandy 15 minutes.
- In large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon & cloves, then set aside.
- In medium bowl, combine applesauce, eggs, brown sugar & oil, mixing well.
- Add raisins & nuts to applesauce mixture & mix well.
- Add fruit mixture to flour mixture & stir only until flour is moistened.
- Pour into greased pan & bake 50-55 minutes.
- Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing loaf of bread to cool completely on wire rack.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 x 5 inch loaf pans.
- Beat together eggs, sugar, and oil. Blend in applesauce, and then sour cream or buttermilk. Mix in flour, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon. Stir in raisins. Pour batter into prepared pans.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2. grease loaf pan
- 3. combine applesauce and baking soda in small bowl--set side.(this mixture sizzles and foams)
- 4. cream butter and sugar in large bowl
- 5. stir in egg, cinnamon, salt and cloves
- 6. blend in applesauce mix (this will appear to be curdled).
- 7. mix in flour slowly until mix is smooth.
- 8. fold in raisins and pour into greased pan
- 9. bake 65-70 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 munutes then invert onto cooling rack.

- Grease 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
- In small bowl, combine eggs, applesauce, raisins, and bran cereal; let stand about 10 mins and stir.
