APPLE DUMP CAKE
Made with just a handful of pantry staples, this Apple Dump Cake may just become your new easy go-to dessert recipe!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Spread apple pie filling evenly in bottom of prepared pan. Sprinkle apple pie filling with ½ teaspoon apple pie spice and mix to combine.
- Evenly distribute the dry cake mix over the apple pie filling. Sprinkle the remaining ½ teaspoon apple pie spice over the dry cake mix. If you are using pecans, sprinkle them evenly over the dry cake mix as well.
- Pour melted butter over top, tilting pan to cover as much of the top with butter as possible.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until light golden brown, mostly dry on top and bubbly around edges.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

- In a large bowl, combine cake mix and water. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed for 1 minute. Fold in the applesauce, pecans and pie spice., Gently spoon into an ungreased 10-in. tube pan. Cut through batter with a knife to remove air pockets. Bake on the lowest oven rack at 350° for 35-45 minutes or until lightly browned and entire top appears dry. Immediately invert pan; cool completely, about 1 hour., Run a knife around side and center tube of pan. Remove cake to a serving plate. Garnish with whipped topping and/or apple slices if desired.

- 1. Mix the dry angel food cake mix with apple pie filling,pour into a greased 9x13 cake pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar or Splenda sugar.
- 2. Bake at 350F for 20-30 minutes. Do not over bake the cake is done when browned on the top but not completely set. (If using a glass pan bake 325F)
- 3. Remove from oven and serve with a dollop of cool whip, also great with vanilla ice cream and caramel.
