SAVORY PUMPKIN DIP WITH CRANBERRY REDUCTION

Steps:
- For the reduction: Combine the cranberry juice, sage, bay leaves, honey and a pinch of salt in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer until reduced to a thin syrup (about 1 tablespoon), 4 to 5 minutes. Let cool, then discard the sage and bay leaves.
- For the dip: Combine the beans, pumpkin, orange zest and juice, pumpkin pie spice, cayenne and 1/2 teaspoon salt in the bowl of a food processor. Process to make a chunky paste.
- Drizzle in the olive oil and 3 tablespoons water. Process until thick and very smooth, adding a little more water if needed. Season with salt.
- Spread the dip in a wide, flat serving bowl. Sprinkle lightly with pumpkin pie spice and drizzle with the cranberry reduction. Sprinkle with the pepitas and parsley and serve with Crunchmaster Crackers on the side for dipping.

- Put the pumpkin puree, light brown sugar, cream cheese, pumpkin pie spice and salt in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until completely smooth. Add the heavy cream and continue to beat on medium-high until very thick and fluffy. Transfer to a dip bowl and keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Right before serving, garnish with a border of ginger snaps. Serve with dippers.

- Add cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat until smooth (it's important that the cream cheese is room temperature so it will mix smoothly into the batter). Slowly add pumpkin pie puree and mix until smooth. Add powdered sugar, cinnamon and cloves and mix until smooth.
- Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Serve with gingersnap cookies, apple slices, cinnamon graham crackers or vanilla wafers.

- 1. Sift the confectioners' sugar with the instant milk & pumpkin spice.
- 2. In a bowl whip the cream cheese till it is soft and fluffy.
- 3. Add the bourbon and beat for about 30 seconds.
- 4. Add the pumpkin to the cream cheese and beat till it is thoroughly mixed.
- 5. Carefully add the pumpkin mixtures to the confectioners' sugar mixture and on a low speed on your mixer, mix till it is all mixed.
- 6. Refrigerate this for at least 24 hours.
