AMISH APPLE BROWNIES
This is a good recipe that I haven't made in a long while. They are definitely different.But very good...Hope you will enjoy

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan and set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla with mixer. combine dry ingredients and add to the butter mixture. Mix until flour is moistened. Fold in apples and nuts. Spread into prepared baking pan and bake at 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes or until done. Drizzle with glaze, using 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar, i tablespoon and hot water and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.

- By hand, fold in apples and walnuts.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees with rack in center position. Generously butter an 8-by-11-inch baking dish.
- Whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, beat together butter, sugar, and egg with a mixer until pale, about 2 minutes. Add walnuts and apples, and stir by hand until combined. Add flour mixture, and stir until combined, about 30 seconds more.
- Spread batter in pan, and bake until golden brown and slightly firm, about 40 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack 30 minutes, then cut into 12 bars.

This was my Mom's recipe. Easy and quick to make. Apples and walnuts are packed into a cinnamon spiced blonde brownie. Always a hit when I bring it to parties. Very moist and great to make in the fall when apples are plentiful.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat together the melted butter, sugar, and egg until fluffy. Fold in the apples and walnuts. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Stir the flour mixture into the wet mixture until just blended. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
