Layers of tropical pineapple, coconut and macadamia nuts are used to create these delightfully easy Aloha Paradise Bars that says "Summer IS here!"

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
2 cups white vanilla baking chips
1 cup coarsely chopped dried pineapple
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom only of 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms. Press dough in bottom of pan.
  • Bake 15 minutes. Sprinkle with baking chips, pineapple, coconut and nuts. Drizzle evenly with sweetened condensed milk.
  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes longer or until light golden brown. Cool completely. For bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms. Press dough in bottom of pan.
  • 2. Bake 15 minutes. Sprinkle with baking chips, pineapple, coconut and nuts. Drizzle evenly with sweetened condensed milk.
  • 3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes longer or until light golden brown. Cool completely. For bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.

1 cup butter, melted
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
1/3 cup rum
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2-1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
1 package (10 to 12 ounces) white baking chips
1-1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
1-1/2 cups macadamia nuts, chopped
1 teaspoon shortening
1 ounce white candy coating, melted

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, stir the butter, brown sugar, eggs, rum and vanilla until well blended. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture. Stir in 2 cups chocolate chips, white chips, coconut and nuts., Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack., In a microwave, melt shortening with remaining chocolate chips; drizzle over bars. Drizzle candy coating over bars. Store in an airtight container.

1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup Butter Flavor Crisco
1 large egg
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
3 cups quick oats, uncooked
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice, WELL DRAINED
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts, I've used chopped pecans..just as good

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F Lightly grease/spray cookie sheets.
  • Place brown sugar, shortening, egg, orange juice, vanilla extract and lemon extract in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.
  • Combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Add to shortening mixture; beat at low speed just until blended.
  • Stir in pineapple, coconut and chopped nuts.
  • Drop dough by rounded tablespoonsful 2-inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are just lightly browned.
  • Do not overbake.
  • Cool 2 minutes before removing to cooling racks to cool completely.

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 stick butter
12 oz package white chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups chopped macadamia nuts
1 1/2 cups Baker's Coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Melt butter in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over butter. Stir with a fork until combined. Spread evenly over bottom of pan and pat down slightly with the back of the fork to form crust.
  • Sprinkle white chocolate chips evenly over crust. Layer chopped macadamia nuts evenly over white chocolate chips. Spread Baker's Coconut in a layer over the macadamia nuts. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the layers.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes, until coconut is lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature before cutting. Cut into bars. Enjoy!!!
