Melt in the mouth Brown Sugar Garlic Air Fryer Salmon is juicy, tender and full of flavor. Salmon is so good, especially when it's cooked right, and the Air Fryer makes it perfect every time.

1 pound salmon
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Salt and pepper the salmon. In a small bowl add the brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Rub on the salmon.
  • In the basket of your air fryer add the salmon skin side down. Turn the air fryer to 400 degrees and cook for 10 minutes. If adding asparagus add to the basket after 5 minutes.

Did you know an air fryer can do more than just crisp and lend a healthier version of fried food? I decided to cook salmon in mine, and was amazed by the results! Serve with vegetables and rice pilaf if desired.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (6 ounce) salmon fillet
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon Greek seasoning (such as Cavender's®)
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pinch dried dill weed

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, season salmon fillet with salt, Greek seasoning, pepper, and dill.
  • Line the inner basket of the air fryer with a perforated parchment round. Place salmon onto the parchment, skin side down.
  • Air fry salmon until salmon is cooked through, about 15 minutes.

Salmon fillets cook beautifully in an air fryer and make a delicious meal when coated in a herb seasoning and served with greens and grains

1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp mixed herbs
1 tsp garlic granules (optional)
4 salmon fillets (we used 4 x 130g fillets), skin on or removed
½ tbsp olive oil
cooked seasonal greens and grains such as quinoa or brown rice, to serve (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine the salt, pepper, mixed herbs and garlic granules, if using, in a bowl, then scatter onto a plate. Rub each salmon fillet with a little olive oil and roll in the seasoning to coat.
  • Put in the air fryer basket in one layer and cook at 180C for 8-10 mins, until cooked through. If you have larger salmon fillets they will need to be cooked for longer - keep checking after 10 mins and cook in 1-2 min blasts, until ready. Serve with greens and quinoa or rice, if you like.

Cajun Air Fryer Salmon image

Full of flavor with a hint of sweetness, this moist and delicious salmon is ready in under 10 minutes! You may want to add salt before serving if you are using an unsalted Cajun seasoning. I like to use a Misto® sprayer with my own oil, but feel free to use regular cooking spray. For best results, use center-cut fillets that are about an inch thick.

2 (6 ounce) skin-on salmon fillets
cooking spray
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon brown sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Rinse and dry salmon fillets with a paper towel. Mist fillets with cooking spray. Combine Cajun seasoning and brown sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle onto a plate. Press flesh sides of fillets into the seasoning mixture.
  • Spray the basket of the air fryer with cooking spray and place salmon fillets skin-side down. Mist salmon again lightly with cooking spray.
  • Cook for 8 minutes. Remove from air fryer and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
