For holiday meals or weeknight dinners, this Air Fryer Garlic Mushrooms Recipe is great as an easy side dish or topping. Similar to sautéed mushrooms but air fried for that great texture. Steps:
- Clean the mushrooms and trim any long stems. Cut mushrooms to similar sizes to ensure even cooking. Depending on the size of the mushroom cut it into quarters, halves or leave the small ones whole.
- In large bowl, toss mushrooms, oil and garlic. Transfer to greased/sprayed air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 375ºF for 10-15 minutes or until desired tenderness. Toss half way through.
- Salt and pepper to taste and serve with fresh chopped parsley.

- Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Combine mushrooms, avocado oil, soy sauce, garlic granules, salt, and pepper in a bowl; toss to coat. Transfer to the air fryer bowl.
- Cook mushrooms in the air fryer for 10 minutes, shaking occasionally.

Air-frying mushrooms extracts some of their moisture, making their flavor more concentrated and their texture meatier. Don't worry if the basket seems quite full when the mushrooms first go in; as they cook, they shrink. You will need to stop and shake the basket halfway through the cook time to ensure the mushrooms cook evenly. Though fresh garlic has more pungency, we opt for garlic powder here because it covers more evenly and won't burn. Serve with grilled steak or pork, spoon over sautéed chicken breasts, or pile atop a grain bowl.
