1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups chicken broth
1-1/2 cups 2% milk
4 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen spinach, thawed and well drained
2 cups cubed cooked chicken

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in flour and salt until blended; cook until bubbly. Gradually stir in broth and milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Stir in 2 cups mozzarella, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano and pepper; set aside. , In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, parsley and remaining mozzarella; set aside. Spread one-quarter of the cheese sauce into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish; cover with one-third of the noodles. Layer with half of the ricotta mixture, half of the spinach and half of the chicken. , Cover with one-quarter of the cheese sauce and one-third of the noodles. Repeat layers of ricotta mixture, spinach, chicken and one-quarter cheese sauce. Cover with remaining noodles and cheese sauce. , Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350°, uncovered, for 35-40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes.

This warm cheesy goodness! The flavors of the cheeses mixed with the fresh onion, garlic and bell pepper are perfect. And the cheese sauce is so creamy! A great alternative for someone who loves Italian food but doesn't care for a red sauce.

12 lasagna noodles
4 large chicken breasts, diced (approx 5 cups)
6 Tbsp butter or margarine
3/4 c green pepper, chopped
3/4 c onion, chopped
8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 +/- Tbsp Italian seasoning (approx)
pepper (to taste)
2 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 1/4 c Parmesan cheese, shredded
16 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
15 oz ricotta cheese
2 c mozzarella cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • 1. Grease the bottom and sides of a 9x13 baking pan. Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2. Boil lasagna noodles until they're about 1/2 way done. Drain, rinse, and set aside.
  • 3. In a large saucepan, saute diced chicken breast in butter over medium heat. Season with Italian seasoning and pepper.
  • 4. When chicken is almost done cooking, add in green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and garlic. Add additional seasoning if desired. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  • 5. Stir in soup, shredded Parmesan, and Velveeta. Cook until cheese is melted.
  • 6. Put 4 noodles on the bottom of the greased pan. Layer with 1/3 of the chicken mixture, dot with 1/3 of the ricotta cheese, and 1/2 a cup of mozzarella cheese.
  • 7. Repeat with another layer of noodles, chicken mixture, ricotta, and 1/2 a cup of mozzarella cheese.
  • 8. Repeat for a third, and last, time, but top with all remaining mozzarella cheese (1 cup).
  • 9. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Let set 5-10 minutes before cutting.

2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1-1/2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
12 no-cook lasagna noodles (about 7 ounces)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, cook and crumble beef with onion and garlic over medium-high heat until browned, 5-7 minutes; drain. Stir in herbs and tomato sauce. In a bowl, mix eggs, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese., Spread 1 cup meat sauce into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish; layer with 4 noodles, cottage cheese mixture, an additional 4 noodles and half the remaining meat sauce. Repeat last 2 layers. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and remaining mozzarella cheese., Cover with greased foil; bake until cheese is melted, 50-55 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Freeze option: Cover and freeze unbaked lasagna. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake lasagna as directed until heated through and a thermometer inserted in center reads 165°, increasing time to 1 to 1-1/2 hours.

1 can (28 ounces) tomatoes, undrained

Steps:

  • In a skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender; drain. In a blender, process the tomatoes until smooth. Stir into beef mixture along with mushrooms, tomato paste and seasonings; simmer 15 minutes. , In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, Parmesan, cheddar, 1/2 cup mozzarella and eggs. Spread 2 cups meat sauce in the bottom of an ungreased 13x9-in. baking dish. Arrange half the noodles over sauce. Spread cheese mixture over noodles. Top with remaining noodles and sauce. , Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with remaining mozzarella. Return to the oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.

9 lasagna noodles
½ cup butter
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups chicken broth
1 ½ cups milk
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups cubed, cooked chicken meat
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain, and rinse with cold water.
  • Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook the onion and garlic in the butter until tender, stirring frequently. Stir in the flour and salt, and simmer until bubbly. Mix in the broth and milk, and boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Stir in 2 cups mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Season with the basil, oregano, and ground black pepper. Remove from heat, and set aside.
  • Spread 1/3 of the sauce mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer with 1/3 of the noodles, the ricotta, and the chicken. Arrange 1/3 of the noodles over the chicken, and layer with 1/3 of the sauce mixture, spinach, and the remaining 2 cups mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Arrange remaining noodles over cheese, and spread remaining sauce evenly over noodles. Sprinkle with parsley and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven.

4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 cups milk
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
8 ounces lasagna noodles (9-10 noodles)
2 cups cream-style cottage cheese
2 cups cut-up cooked chicken
1 (10 ounce) package chopped spinach, thawed and well-drained
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese

Steps:

  • Heat butter in 2 qt saucepan over low heat until melted.
  • Add garlic.
  • Stir in flour and salt.
  • Cook, stirring constantly until bubbly.
  • Remove from heat and stir in milk and broth.
  • Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  • Stir in mozzarella, 3/4 cup Parmesan, onion, basil, oregano, parsley and pepper.
  • Cook over low heat stirring constantly until cheese is melted.
  • Spread 1/4 of the cheese sauce (about 1 1/2 cups) in ungreased 13x9 dish and top with 3 or 4 noodles (cooked or uncooked, your preference), overlapping if necessary.
  • Spread 1/2 of the cottage cheese over noodles.
  • Repeat with 1/4 of cheese sauce, 3-4 noodles, and remaining cottage cheese.
  • Top with chicken, spinach, 1/4 of cheese sauce, remaining noodles, and remaining cheese sauce.
  • Sprinkle with 3/4 cup Parmesan and 1/4 cup parmigiano-reggiano cheese.
  • Cook uncovered at 350°F 20-30 minutes until nice and bubbly.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.

1 cup diced onion

1 1/2 lbs ground beef

39 ounces tomato sauce
2 tablespoons basil
2 tablespoons oregano
1 lb mozzarella cheese
1/2 lb parmesan cheese
1 lb ricotta cheese
1/2 lb romano cheese

Steps:

  • In a large skillet brown your ground beef. Once browned drain any fats.
  • Add onions, garlic and mushrooms cook till onions are clear. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add tomato sauce and herbs cook for 20 minutes on very low heat. I like to use the Classico Sweet Tomato and Basil sauce.
  • Cook lasagna noodles according to box directions.
  • Arrange 3 noodles on bottom of a 9x13-inch pan, place 1/3 of your meat sauce over noddles, next arrange 1/3 of each of the cheeses (I like to start with the Ricotta and then the Mozzarella, parmesan and Romano). Repeat this two more times.
  • Bake at 375°F for 1 hours. Allow to rest for 30 - 45 minutes and then serve.

1 package provolone cheese
2 eggs

1 package no-cook lasagna noodle

32 ounces spaghetti sauce
parmesan cheese, grated

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Shred provolone (can use salad shooter).
  • Combine all the cheese mixture ingredients and mix well.
  • Oil bottom of a 13" x 9" x 2" pan with a thin layer.
  • Add 1/3 cup spaghetti sauce (ladle-full) to bottom of the pan.
  • Place 3-4 noodles across bottom of the pan.
  • Cover with cheese mixture (about 3 tablespoons per noodle) and spread.

3 each skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 (8 ounce) package lasagna noodles
1 tablespoon butter
1 medium onion, chopped
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 (26.5 ounce) cans spaghetti sauce, divided
2 (15 ounce) containers part-skim ricotta cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, or more to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil over medium-high heat and add chicken breasts; reduce heat and let simmer until chicken falls apart easily with a fork and is no longer pink, 10 to 15 minutes. Drain water, shred chicken with 2 forks, and set aside.
  • While chicken is boiling, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain and lay noodles in a single, flat layer on a paper towel to dry.
  • Heat butter in a small saute pan over medium-high heat. Saute onion and garlic in the hot butter just until onion is translucent, 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Mix shredded chicken, onion-garlic mixture, 1 cup spaghetti sauce, ricotta cheese, 1/2 of the Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning together in a large bowl.
  • Mix remaining spaghetti sauce and remaining Parmesan cheese together in another bowl. Spread a thin layer on the bottom of a glass 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer 3 lasagna noodles, spread chicken mixture on top, then add another thin layer of the sauce mixture. Repeat, leaving a final layer of noodles on top. Top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella and Cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until heated through and cheese bubbles, about 45 minutes.
