I borrowed this recipe from my sister-in-law, Laura Gwaltney, many years ago after sampling it at a family Christmas dinner. I took it to work last year for our Christmas party, and they all loved it! You be the judge!

Number Of Ingredients 6

Ingredients

1 package(s) (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 jar(s) (5 oz.) old english cheese spread
1 jar(s) (5 oz.) roka cheese spread
1 small onion, chopped fine (or may use 3 tbsp. minced onion)
1/8 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1 package(s) walnut pieces

Steps:

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together, except walnuts.
Form mixture into ball shape and place on a plate. Cover with chopped walnut pieces.
Refrigerate overnight and serve slightly chilled with assorted crackers.

Ingredients

2 pkg packages of cream cheese, softened, 8 oz each
1/3 c green onion, finely chopped
1/4 c bell pepper, finely chopped
18 oz pineapple, crushed
2 tsp seasoning salt
1 c pecans, finely chopped
1 c pecans, chopped

Steps:

1. Cream cheese should be at room temperature. Add cream cheese, onion, bell pepper, pineapple, season salt, and pecans into a large bowl.
2. Mix until combined. The easiest way to mix this is to use your hands.
3. After you have mixed all ingredients well shape into a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and let chill for 1 1/2 hours.
4. Roll your cheeses ball into the cup of finely chopped pecans. Once completely covered serve with your favorite crackers!

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimientos, drained
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
Toasted French bread slices, assorted crackers and/or fresh vegetables

Steps:

In a small bowl, combine first seven ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. , Shape into a ball; roll in walnuts. Cover and refrigerate overnight. , Serve with toasted French bread slices, crackers and/or vegetables.

In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream and shredded cheese with a rubber spatula or with a hand mixer (if desired).
Add half the diced peppers (reserving half of each colour for coating the cheese ball later), and add the pepper, salt (to taste), and garlic and onion powders, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce.
Place a large piece of plastic wrap on your work surface and add the cheese ball onto the plastic wrap. Using the plastic wrap, roll the cheese ball into a smooth ball shape wrapping it tightly in the plastic.
