CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Steps:

• Sift flours, baking soda, baking powder and salt into a bowl and set aside.
• Using a mixer with a paddle attachment, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy, 3 to 5 minutes.
• Reduce speed and add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
• Slowly add dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
• Fold in chocolate chips by hand. Refrigerate dough for24-36 hours.
• DO NOT SKIP REFRIGERATION.
• When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350°F. Remove dough from refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature.
• Drop spoonfuls (2-3 tablespoons) of dough onto baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
• Cool on wire rack.

Steps:

• Mix together flour, soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl and set aside.
• Cream butter, sugar and pudding mix.
• Beat in eggs until light and slightly fluffy.
• Mix in vanilla.
• Mix in dry ingredients a little at a time.
• Place walnuts in large zip top bag. Pound with a mallet until almost pulverized.
• Mix walnuts, butterscotch chips and mini chocolate chips into dough.
• Roll dough in to 1 inch balls and place on baking sheet 1 inch apart.
• Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes in a conventional oven. If using a convection oven bake at 350 for 8 minutes.
• Remove to wire racks to cool.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
• Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.

• Press the nuts on top of each cookie slice.
• Bake according to package directions.
