This incredibly simple, slightly bitter cocktail is the perfect aperitif before a meal-it packs the structure and flavor of a classic cocktail, without the high alcohol content.

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces Cocchi Americano Bianco
1 ounce elderflower liqueur, such as St-Germain
2 ounces club soda
1 grapefruit twist

Steps:

Fill a 10-ounce Collins glass with ice. Add Cocchi and elderflower liqueur. Top with club soda, stir briefly with a long cocktail spoon, and garnish with a grapefruit twist.

Cassis Spritz. Cassis is the French name for black currant and let me tell ya, it’s delicious. If you’ve never had black currant, it tastes a little like raspberries, blackberries, and gooseberries.
Winter Aperol Spritz. If you love the classic Aperol spritz, I know you’ll love this wintry version. The secret to this tasty spritz is the addition of Sloe Gin.
Blackberry Thyme Spritzer. This non-alcoholic spritzer is super fresh and super fruity! I find that herbs and fruit work so well together in drinks (and food).
