EASY MOCHACCINO RECIPE



Easy Mochaccino Recipe image

Mochaccinos are a combination of mochas and cappuccinos. Combine one part espresso, one part chocolate, and two parts steamed milk to make an easy and incredibly tasty coffee drink.

1 ounce coffee beans (finely-ground)
2 ounces filtered water
4 ounces milk (any kind)
2 ounces chocolate syrup

Steps:

  • Pull two shots (2 ounces) of espresso using your espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.
  • Steam the milk using the steam arm of your espresso machine. If you don't have one, you can heat milk on the stove and then shake it in a mason jar.
  • Mix the espresso and chocolate syrup together in your tall glass.
  • Pour the milk on top and then spoon on your milk foam.
  • Garnish with cocoa powder, chocolate chips, or chocolate syrup and enjoy!

1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ double chocolate chunk cookie mix
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons strong brewed coffee (room temperature)
1 egg
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
1/2 cup flaked coconut, toasted
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
3 oz white chocolate baking squares, coarsely chopped

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Line 9-inch square baking pan with foil. Spray bottom and sides of foil-lined pan with cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, stir cookie mix, oil, 2 tablespoons of the coffee, egg, 1/2 cup of the macadamia nuts and coconut until soft dough forms. Spread dough in bottom of pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or just until set. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave whipping cream, white chocolate and remaining 1 tablespoon coffee uncovered on High about 1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
  • To serve, remove bars from pan by lifting foil; cut into 5 rows by 4 rows. Place each bar on an individual dessert plate. Spoon warm drizzle over the top of each bar. Sprinkle with remaining macadamia nuts. Serve immediately. Store bars tightly covered at room temperature. Store drizzle covered in refrigerator.

1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
1 teaspoon cocoa powder, or more to taste
½ teaspoon vanilla extract, or more to taste
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
1 tablespoon whipped cream

Steps:

  • Blend milk, ice cubes, sugar, instant coffee granules, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract in a blender until smooth.
  • Lightly coat the inside of a glass with chocolate syrup. Pour the coffee mixture into the glass. Top with whipped cream to serve.

3 ounces white chocolate, finely chopped
2 cups whole milk
2 cups hot fresh brewed hot coffee
whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles

Steps:

  • Microwave the chocolate and milk in a medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH for 2 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Make sure chocolate is melted and stir until smooth. Stir in the coffee. Pour into large cups or mugs. Top each mug with whipped cream and sprinkles.

If you haven't already noticed, I'm addicted to sweets--cookies are one of my passions! This recipe was a print-out of mine, but I'm not sure of the site. Sounds whimsical and delicious: chocolate sugar cookies sandwiched with coffee frosting and drizzled with white chocolate glaze.

3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
4 -5 tablespoons heavy cream
6 ounces white chocolate
1 teaspoon canola oil

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, cream the butter, sugar and vanilla extract.
  • Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt until evenly blended.
  • Lay a large piece of plastic wrap on a baking sheet; spoon dough onto plastic. Cover with another piece of plastic; press dough out with a rolling pin until it is about 1/2-inch thick.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F Unwrap dough.
  • Using 2" cookie cutter of desired shape, cut out cookies. Re-roll and re-cut to use all dough.
  • Set cookies 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets; bake 10 minutes, until lightly puffed.
  • Transfer cookies to wire racks and cool completely.
  • Make the filling: In a medium bowl, stir together the melted butter, powdered sugar, coffee granules, and 4 tablespoons heavy cream until smooth. Add up to 1 tablespoon additional cream if needed to make a spreadable filling.
  • Spread half the cookies with the filling; top with remaining cookies to make sandwiches.
  • Make the glaze: Over very low heat, melt the white chocolate and oil together, stirring until smooth. Dip each cookie halfway into the glaze; let excess drip off. (Or use a pastry bag or the tines of a fork to freestyle glaze patterns over cookies.) Set on wire racks to cool.
