Milk, black tea, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves are simmered together in this recipe for hot and spicy chai tea.

Steps:
- Combine water, brown sugar, ginger root, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, bay leaves, fennel seeds, and peppercorns together in a pot; cover and boil for 20 minutes. Remove pot from heat, add tea leaves, and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Stir milk into tea mixture and bring to a boil; strain tea into tea cups.

WALLY'S SPICED CHAI TEA
Made by Wally Pippin at the Ladies Christmas Tea at my mom's church. He calls it Chai Tea. It was really good. It was really sweet, so the sugar could probably be cut down some, too. This recipe was made for a large group. I'm not sure how many it will serve. Since I had to put in a servings amount, I just guessed at 30.

- Brew in a 30 cup percolator or large pot. Combine water, tea bags, orange, lemon, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves.
- When finished brewing, add vanilla, sugar, and coffee creamer.
