In a large saucepan add butter and marshmallows, constantly stir over medium-high heat until marshmallows are completely melted
Once butter and marshmallows are completely combined and melted remove from heat and stir in the 1 cup of marshmallow cream until well combined. Then gently stir in the 8 cups of Rice Krispie cereal until all the cereal is well coated.
Add in 5 tablespoons of sprinkles by sprinkling them evenly over mixture, stir a few times, and then press the Rice Krispies into a 9x13 pan. Top with the leftover 1 tablespoon of sprinkles, by evenly scattering them over the treats. Cut and serve immediately, or let it sit and serve later.
A fun way to serve these yummy treats is using a heart-shaped cookie cutter. You can even make homemade arrows, if you wish, out of skewers and tape (liked pictured). My kids liked the traditional squares.

For each color batch, you will need 3 tablespoons of butter, 3 cups of marshmallows, and 3 cups of Rice Krispies Cereal. Melt the butter in a large pan on medium heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted.
For the White batch, mix in the 3 cups of Rice Krispie Cereal to the marshmallow mixture without adding any food coloring.
For the Pink batch, add pink food coloring to the marshmallow mixture BEFORE you add in the Rice Krispie Cereal. Then mix in the cereal until it is completely covered with marshmallow mixture.
For the Red batch, add red food coloring to the marshmallow mixture before you add the Rice Krispie cereal.

Once the marshmallows are melted, pour in the 6 cups of Rice Krispie cereal. Gently fold the cereal into the melted marshmallows and pour the Rice Krispie treats into the prepared baking dish and evenly press into the pan (use wax paper to press down the mix - this will help avoid sticking to your hands) and set aside.
In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, 1/3 cup melted butter and vanilla extract and a tablespoon of milk. Once the frosting has reached your desired consistency, add in a few drops of pink food coloring and stir to combine.
