Warm Ham 'n' Swiss Wraps image

I love to make these wraps when we have a busy week. They're easy to put together...and my family gobbles them up. You can adapt the filling to use ingredients you have on hand or to suit your own tastes.

6 flour tortillas (10 inches)
1 pound thinly sliced deli ham
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
3 cups chopped lettuce
1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
1/2 cup diced cucumber
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
2 green onions, chopped
DRESSING:
3/4 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons whole milk
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon celery seed

Steps:

  • On each tortilla, layer four slices of ham and 1/3 cup cheese; roll up and secure with toothpicks. Place in an ungreased 11x7-in. baking pan. Cover and bake at 350° for 14-16 minutes or until cheese is melted., Meanwhile, combine the lettuce, tomato, cucumber, green pepper and onions. In a small bowl, whisk the dressing ingredients. Unroll the tortillas halfway; top each with 1/3 cup lettuce mixture and 1 tablespoon dressing. Roll up again; serve immediately.

2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced
6 ounces sliced deli turkey, coarsely chopped
6 cherry tomatoes, halved
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
6 Bibb or Boston lettuce leaves
1/2 medium ripe avocado, peeled and cubed
1/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 cup alfalfa sprouts, optional

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender, 3-4 minutes. Add turkey; heat through. Stir in tomatoes and vinegar just until combined., Serve in lettuce leaves. Top with avocado, cheese and if desired, sprouts.

4 teaspoons heavy mayonnaise
1 head iceberg lettuce (4 outer leaves only)
1/4 pound sliced turkey (no sugar added)
1/4 pound precooked bacon strips (8 slices)
1 tomato, thinly sliced to make 8 slices
1/4 pound sliced Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • Spread about a teaspoon of mayonnaise on the inside of a large single outer leaf of iceberg lettuce. Place leaf on the counter and top with 2 slices of turkey breast, 2 bacon slices, 2 slices of cheese, and 1 to 2 tomato slices. Roll up like a burrito. Close with toothpicks and cut into pinwheels. Repeat to make 4 roll-ups.

1 (3/4 ounce) Laughing Cow light swiss cheese
2 ounces deli turkey
1 roma tomato, slices
3 -4 fresh basil leaves, torn
fresh ground pepper (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat skillet over medium heat.
  • Meanwhile, spread cheese wedge onto tortilla.
  • Next layer turkey, roma tomato slices, fresh basil and fresh ground pepper.
  • Spray skillet with cooking spray and place tortilla on skillet.
  • Heat until turkey feels warm to the touch - careful not to let the tortilla get too dark.
  • Roll up and serve!

3 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
1/2 cup julienned roasted sweet red peppers
4 green onions, thinly sliced
1/2 cup olive oil vinaigrette
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup chutney
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1-1/4 pounds turkey breast cutlets, cut into 1/2-inch strips
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 flour tortillas (10 inches), warmed
4 lettuce leaves

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine tomatoes, red peppers and green onions; add vinaigrette and toss to coat. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, chutney and curry powder until blended., In a small bowl, combine turkey, oil and seasonings; toss to coat. In a large skillet, add turkey mixture in batches; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until no longer pink. Remove from heat; keep warm., Spread 1/4 cup cream cheese mixture over each tortilla. ¾ cup chopped red onion
1 tablespoon dried thyme
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup coarse-grain brown mustard
8 slices country style French Bread
6 tablespoons butter, softened
1 pound thinly sliced roast turkey
8 slices tomato
8 slices Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, stir together the red onion, thyme, mayonnaise and mustard. Spread some of this mixture onto one side of each slice of bread. Spread butter onto the other side of the slices of bread.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place 4 slices of the bread into the skillet with the butter side down. On each slice of bread, layer 1/4 of the sliced turkey, then 2 slices of tomato, and top with 2 slices of Swiss cheese. Place remaining slices of bread over the top with the butter side up.
