True Green Smoothie image

This can be changed to your personal taste for sweetness, thickness, etc. It's a great way to actually get those 5 servings of fruits AND vegetables in.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cups raw spinach
3 medium carrots, peeled and ends cut off
1 medium banana
1 cup frozen fresh pineapple
1/2 medium avocado
1 tablespoon flax seed
8 ounces water

Steps:

  • Put everything in the blender and puree until smooth. You may add more water until it is the consistancey you are comfortable with.
  • Pour into two glasses and serve.
  • Leftovers can be kept covered in the fridge for a day.
