This is a recipe I made up myself. My whole family likes it. I have gotten dried pineapple at Sam's Club.

Ingredients

1 lb dried pineapple
1 cup golden raisin
1 cup almonds (whole or slivered)
1/2 cup ground flax seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
3/4 cup unpopped popcorn
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup no trans fat margarine
1 cup brown sugar (or less if you like)
cinnamon, to taste
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

Pop the popcorn on the stove or skillet. DO NOT air pop.
Pour into a large bowl that you can seal and let the popcorn cool.
Add pineapple, raisins, almonds, and sunflower seeds to popcorn. Stir thoroughly.
While popcorn is cooling, melt butter and mix in brown sugar and cinnamon to taste.
Boil for 1 minute only.
Remove from heat and add flax seed and vanilla; mix well.
Pour over the popcorn mixture and use a rubber spatula to mix from the bottom up, like folding in ingredients. The seeds tend to fall to the bottom.
Let dry and enjoy. Makes a big bowl.

A crunchy, chewy blend of tropical fruit and nuts brought together in a sweet and salty snack. Have paper napkins nearby because it is just a little sticky.

Ingredients

1 cup whole cashews
1 cup chopped dried pineapple
1 cup chopped dried mango
1 cup pretzel sticks, broken in half
½ cup macadamia nuts
½ cup coconut flakes
¼ cup sweetened dried cranberries (such as Ocean Spray® Craisins®)
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon butter
¼ teaspoon flaky sea salt (such as Maldon®)

Steps:

Combine cashews, pineapple, mango, pretzels, macadamia nuts, coconut flakes, and cranberries in a large bowl; stir to combine.
Add honey and butter to a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until butter is melted, about 1 minute. You also could do this in the microwave.
Drizzle honey-butter over snack mix and sprinkle salt over the top. Stir well to make sure everything is well coated.

Prep your popcorn. If you want to use already popped corn that is fine. I used 1/3 cup white corn kernels and popped the old-fashioned way, in a pot on the stove top. I added a teaspoon of salt when it was freshly popped to flavor it a bit.
