1 box Betty Crocker™ fudge brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
Football-shaped cookie cutter, 3 1/2x2 inches
1 container Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting
Betty Crocker® white decorating icing (from 4.25-oz tube)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil so foil extends about 2 inches over sides of pan. Spray foil with cooking spray. Make brownies as directed on box. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • Using foil to lift, remove brownies from pan. With football-shaped cookie cutter, cut brownies into football shapes. Spread frosting on brownies. Pipe on decorating icing to look like football laces.

1 package fudge brownie mix (13-in. x 9-in. pan size)
6 tablespoons butter, softened
2-3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup vanilla or white chips

Steps:

  • Prepare the brownie batter according to package directions. Spread into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 13-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. , In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar, cocoa, milk and vanilla until smooth. Frost the cooled brownies. Loosely cover and chill for 1 hour or until frosting is set. , With a sharp knife, make lengthwise cuts 1-1/2-in. parallel cuts from a short side to a long side to form diamonds. In a microwave, melt chocolate chips at 50% power; stir until smooth. Place in a small heavy-duty resealable plastic bag; cut a small hole in a corner of bag. Pipe laces on brownies.

Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie box
Football-shaped cookie cutter, 3 1/2x2 inches
1/2 cup Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting (from 16-oz container)
Betty Crocker™ white decorating icing (from 4.25-oz tube)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line 9-inch square pan with foil, allowing some to hang over edges of pan. Grease bottom and sides of foil with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Make brownie batter as directed on box. Spread in pan.
  • Bake 28 to 31 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely on cooling rack, about 1 1/2 hours. Freeze in pan 15 minutes.
  • Using foil to lift, remove brownies from pan, and peel foil away. With football-shaped cookie cutter, cut brownies into football shapes. Set aside leftover pieces for snacking. Spread frosting on brownies. For easier cutting, refrigerate 15 minutes to set frosting. Pipe on decorating icing to look like football laces.

1/4 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs

Steps:

1 (20 ounce) package brownie mix (with chocolate syrup pouch)
1/4 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 (12 ounce) container chocolate frosting
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches, with aluminum foil, letting foil hang 2 inches over short ends of pan.
  • Spray foil with cooking spray.
  • Stir brownie mix, chocolate syrup, water, oil and eggs in medium bowl until well blended.
  • Spread in pan.
  • Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean.
  • Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • Remove brownies from pan, using foil to lift.
  • Cut brownies into football shapes, using a Football-shaped cookie cutter, 3 1/2 by 2 inches.
  • Frost footballs with frosting.
  • Place baking chips, milk and butter in small microwavable bowl.
  • Microwave uncovered on Medium-High (70 percent) 1 minute; stir.
  • Microwave about 10 seconds longer or until chips are melted.
  • Drizzle melted chips over frosting to look like football laces.
