BARBECUE HOT DOGS

Steps:

• Preheat a grill to medium. Grill 8 hot dogs, turning, until lightly charred in spots, 5 to 7 minutes, brushing with barbecue sauce during the last minute of cooking. Toast 8 hot dog buns on the grill until marked, about 30 seconds. Serve the hot dogs on the toasted buns with assorted toppings.

BBQ BONES DOG TREATS

Steps:

• place whole wheat flour, wheat germ and oats in a medium mixing bowl, blend with a whisk.
• add bbq sauce, oil, egg and water and mix well.
• sprinkle half of the cornmeal over a sheet of wax paper, place dough on waxed paper, sprinkle remaining cornmeal on top of dough.
• roll out to 1/4" thickness.
• cut with cookie cutters or cut into rectangles with sharp knife.
• place on sprayed cookie sheets.
• bake at 350* for 30 minutes or a little longer if you want a harder treat -- .

GRILLED FOOT-LONG CONEY DOGS

Steps:

• Heat gas or charcoal grill. In each hot dog, make crosswise diagonal cuts 1/2 inch apart and 1/4 inch deep.
• Carefully brush grill rack with vegetable oil. Place hot dogs on grill rack over medium heat. Grill uncovered 15 to 20 minutes, turning frequently and brushing occasionally with butter, until hot dogs are hot and slashes begin to open.
• Remove label and top from can of chili. Add opened can of chili to grill for last 10 minutes of grilling, stirring occasionally, until hot. Serve hot dogs on buns with chili, cheese and onion.

TONY'S BBQ DOGS

Steps:

• Boil the sausages in 2 cans of beer just enough, but don't let them overcook. You want the sausage not to break the skin.
• Take them out of the boiled beer and place in bowl with BBQ sauce. Let marinade in BBQ sauce for about an hour or overnight.
• Place sausages on BBQ grill just enough to get grill marks and get hot. Place in a hot bun and ENJOY.
