Ingredients

1 can (16 oz.) chickpeas (garbanzo beans) (chick peas), drained
1-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Colby & Monterey Jack Cheeses, divided
4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup chopped tomato
thin wheat snack crackers

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Place beans, 1 cup of the cheese, cream cheese, sour cream and ground red pepper in blender or food processor container; cover. Blend until smooth. Stir in green onions.
Spread into 9-inch pie plate.
Bake 20 min. or until lightly golden brown. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and tomato. Serve with crackers.

1-1/2 cups shredded reduced-fat Mexican cheese blend
1-1/2 cups shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
1 can (16 ounces) fat-free refried beans
1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 package (8 ounces) reduced-fat cream cheese, cubed
1/2 cup reduced-fat sour cream
1 tablespoon taco seasoning
Tortilla chips and assorted fresh vegetables

Steps:

In a large bowl, combine cheeses; set aside 1 cup for topping. Add the beans, tomatoes, cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning to the remaining cheeses; stir until blended. Transfer mixture to a greased 2-qt. baking dish; sprinkle with reserved cheeses., Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly around the edges. Serve warm with chips and vegetables.

2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
1 cup sour cream
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
Tortilla chips

Steps:

In a bowl, combine cheeses; set aside 2 cups for topping. Add beans, sour cream, cream cheese and taco seasoning to the remaining cheese. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish; sprinkle with reserved cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20-30 minutes or until bubbly around the edges. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Steps:

In 8-inch cast-iron skillet or ungreased pie plate, mix beans and green chiles. Top with cheese. Bake about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Add toppings; serve immediately with chips.

Pour pinto beans into a colander or strainer and allow to sit for a few minutes. DON'T RINSE them--our goal is to remove some of the liquid but not all of it.
Transfer beans to a large mixing bowl. Use a potato masher or some forks to mash the mixture until relatively smooth, with some chunks. Add the cream cheese and mash some more, until combined. Stir in the sour cream, taco seasoning, salsa, and 1/4 cup shredded cheese.
Pour mixture into an 8 inch or similar size baking dish and sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese evenly on top. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
