This is a nice version of the popular Italian pick-me-up dessert. The toffee candy in this recipe adds a delightful crunchiness to the smooth creamy whipped cream quality of an already perfect dessert.

1 (10.75 ounce) package frozen prepared pound cake, thawed and cut into 9 slices
¾ cup strong brewed coffee
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup white sugar
½ cup chocolate syrup
2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 (1.4 ounce) bars chocolate covered English toffee, chopped

Steps:

  • Arrange cake slices on bottom of a rectangular 11x7 inch baking dish, cutting cake slices if necessary to fit the bottom of the dish. Drizzle coffee over cake.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, and chocolate syrup, in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add heavy cream; beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Spread over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate-covered toffee candy.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, but no longer than 24 hours, to set dessert and blend flavors.

2-1/2 packages (6.70 ounces each) Girl Scout Toffee-tastic™, divided
1/4 cup butter, melted
4 packages (8 ounces each) full-fat cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 large eggs
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup brickle toffee bits, divided
Caramel or chocolate ice cream topping, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Crush 2 boxes of cookies in a food processor or blender. Add melted butter; press onto bottom of a greased 9-in. springform pan. Place on a 15x10-in. rimmed pan. Bake 10 minutes; cool on a wire rack., Meanwhile, beat cream cheese until creamy. Combine sugar and cornstarch; on low speed, gradually beat into cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, blending well after each addition. Beat in whipping cream and vanilla just until combined (do not overbeat)., Chop remaining cookies into bite-size pieces. Fold cookie pieces and 1/2 cup toffee bits into cream cheese mixture. Pour over cooled crust; return springform to rimmed pan., Bake cheesecake until edges are light golden and center is almost set, about 60-70 minutes. Cool on a wire rack 10 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining toffee chips. Loosen sides from pan with a knife. Cool 1 hour longer. Refrigerate overnight, covering when completely cooled., Remove rim from pan. If desired, top cheesecake with caramel or chocolate topping.

1 (12 ounce) package ladyfingers
¼ cup butter, melted
¼ cup coffee-flavored liqueur, divided
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) container mascarpone cheese
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 (1 ounce) square semisweet chocolate

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place a pan of water on the bottom of the oven.
  • Crush the package of ladyfingers to fine crumbs. Mix the melted butter into the crumbs. Moisten with 2 tablespoons of the coffee liqueur. Press into an 8-inch springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, mascarpone, and sugar until very smooth. Add 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur, and mix. Add the eggs and the flour; mix slowly just until smooth. Pour batter over crust in the springform pan.
  • Place pan on middle rack of oven. Bake until just set, 40 to 45 minutes. Open oven door, and turn off the heat. Leave cake to cool in oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, and let it finish cooling, about 30 minutes. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight.
  • Grate semisweet chocolate over the top right before serving.

1-1/4 cups milk chocolate English toffee bits, divided

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, combine flour, confectioners' sugar, cocoa and baking soda. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press onto the bottom of an ungreased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake 12-15 minutes or until set., In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add milk, eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth. Stir in 3/4 cup toffee bits. Pour over crust. Bake 18-22 minutes longer or until center is almost set., Cool on a wire rack 15 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits; cool completely. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

Bake at 350° for 6-8 minutes or until set; cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with toffee bits., In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Add eggs; beat on low speed just until combined. Pour into crust. Place pan on a baking sheet. , Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. 1 package white cake mix (regular size)
1 cup strong brewed coffee, room temperature
4 large egg whites
4 Heath candy bars (1.4 ounces each), chopped
FROSTING:
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup chocolate syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups heavy whipping cream
6 tablespoons strong brewed coffee, room temperature

Steps:

  • Line two greased 9-in. round baking pans with waxed paper and grease the paper; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, coffee and egg whites; beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Fold in chopped candy bars. , Pour into prepared pans. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool. , For frosting, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in chocolate syrup and vanilla. Add the whipping cream. 2 ¼ cups crushed chocolate graham crackers
¼ cup butter, melted
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup lemon juice
1 (12 ounce) box vanilla wafer cookies (such as Nilla®)
½ cup cold, brewed coffee

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Line a 9x13-inch pan with aluminum foil, making sure to cover the sides and leaving several inches of aluminum foil on each end.
  • Mix graham crackers and butter in a bowl until crackers are moist; pat down into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven until firm, about 12 minutes. Set aside to cool.
