CHILI CHEESE FRIES
This is an easy way to make one of my favorite snacks, chili cheese fries.

Steps:
- Prepare french fries as directed on the package.
- Stir cornstarch and water in a small cup until cornstarch dissolves; set aside. Bring milk and margarine to a boil in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and whisk the cornstarch mixture into the milk mixture, bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook and stir until the mixture is thick and smooth. Add the cheese to the milk mixture and stir until the cheese has melted and is well combined.
- Prepare chili as directed on the can. Pour the cooked chili and the cheese sauce over the top of the cooked french fries.

CHILI CHEESE FRIES
Nothing is better than a pile of loaded fries on game night topped with homemade chili and nacho cheese sauce.

Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- Brown the ground beef and garlic in a large pot.
- Add the tomato sauce and spices to the ground beef mixture. Stir to combine, then simmer on low for at least 20 minutes or up to 2 hours.
- Gather the ingredients.
- Spread out the French fries on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet so that they are in an even layer. Bake in a preheated 425 F oven for 25 minutes.
- Heat the milk, spices, cream cheese, and Velveeta in a small saucepan on very low heat, stirring frequently.
- Slowly whisk in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Whisk in the hot sauce and taco sauce.
- Stir the French fries halfway through baking to ensure they are crispy on all sides.
- Pile the French fries onto the center of the baking sheet and top them with the remaining shredded cheddar.
- Broil the baking sheet until the cheese is just melted, but not browned.
- Top the cheesy fries with about half of the chili.
- Top the chili fries with the homemade nacho cheese.
- Add chopped scallions and extra taco sauce if you wish.
- Serve and enjoy!

CHILI FRIES
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
- Lay fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, until crisp and golden.
- In a large pot over medium heat, break up ground beef and brown, stirring constantly to break up all the clumps to fine ground.
- Add remaining ingredients through the onion powder. Bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve hot fries on a plate smothered with chili and topped with shredded cheese, if using.

- Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir to break up. Season with the salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, paprika, and cayenne. Stir and cook until deep brown in color, 10-15 minutes.
- Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, chipotles, and a pinch of salt. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 10 minutes.
- Add the tomato paste and cook until it darkens, becomes aromatic, and starts sticking to the bottom of the pan, 10 minutes.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, beef broth, black beans, and kidney beans. Stir to incorporate, then bring to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
- Ladle the chili over the fries and top with cheddar cheese, sour cream, and green onions.
