I have discovered a few years back how Texas Roadhouse does their butter-This is THEE closest thing to the real deal!! Easy, simple and very yummie. By far our most favorite restaurant that we wanted to bring home and here it is!! Great on sweet dinner rolls, pancakes, waffles-just about anything-even corn on the cob!!"

1/2 cup sweet creamy butter (softened, salted)
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, with a handmixer, beat butter till fluffy.
  • Add confectioner's sugar at a time, blending well.
  • Add cinnamon to mixture and blend well.
  • Scoop into a small container-serve immediately or refrigerate.

Nothing beats spreading this copycat Texas Roadhouse cinnamon butter on rolls or bread. It's simply devine and worth the short time it takes to make this recipe.

1 tsp. ground cinnamon
½ cup butter, unsalted
¼ cup powdered sugar
¼ cup honey, liquid
A pinch of salt

Steps:

  • Gather all the ingredients.
  • Put the butter, powdered sugar, butter and cinnamon in a medium bowl and beat until smooth using a hand mixer. You can also use a standing mixer with the paddle attachment for less splattering. Don't mix the ingredient by hand as you won't get the smooth consistency you want.
  • Add a pinch of salt and continue beating until everything is mixed well.
  • Try a bit of the mixture, and see if you need to add more cinnamon, honey, or salt. It depends on your taste.
  • Serve with any baked good, bread, or whatever you like and enjoy.

Texas roadhouse has the best rolls and i was craving some. After a bit of searching I found this recipe and edited it a little.Usually I half the recipe. Enjoy :)

Number Of Ingredients 14

1/2 solid cake yeast or 1 package active dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
8 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 whole eggs
2 teaspoons salt
for cinnamon butter
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Soften yeast in warm water with a teaspoon of sugar.
  • Scald milk; cool to lukewarm.
  • Add yeast, sugar, honey, and enough flour to make medium batter.
  • Beat thoroughly. Let stand until light and foamy.
  • Add melted butter (after allowed to cool), eggs, and salt. Beat well.
  • Add enough flour to form soft dough.
  • Sprinkle small amount of flour on counter and let dough rest.
  • Grease the surface of a clean bowl. Knead dough until smooth and satiny
  • Then put dough in greased bowl; turn over to grease top.
  • Cover, let rise in warm place until double in bulk, then punch down.
  • Turn out on floured board. Divide into portions for shaping; let rest 10 minutes.
  • Shape dough into desired forms and place on greased baking sheets. Let rise until doubled.
  • Bake for 10 minutes; then reduce temperature to 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes more.
  • Cool on rack.
  • For cinnamon butter, blend all ingredients at room tempature.
