TANGY HONEY GLAZED HAM
I came up with the glaze for this ham using ingredients on hand and it's the best I've ever tasted. If you have any glaze left over, you can add it to the pan drippings with a little flour or cornstarch and make a nice sauce to accompany the meat. Use the bone and ham trimmings to make soup afterwards.

SWEET, SPICY AND TANGY BAKED HAM
I love baked ham or even ham steaks, but dislike the premade glazes. And definitely not fond of the cloves or traditional brown sugar glaze which is so often used. So this is a quick mix of sweet, a little tang and spice. Now as far as the ham goes ... use your favorite. A good spiral cut, or store bought bone in or boneless ham or even just steaks. This can be used or any cut of ham.

Steps:
- Glaze -- Mix all together and just heat on medium in a small pot on the stove just to combine all the ingredients.
- Bakings -- As the ham bakes, just brush on the glaze. If making ham steaks, just brush on as you pan fry them. If baking the ham, I like to brush fairly often to get a nice glaze.
- That easy, but it is a nice change from the typical glazes.

SPICY MUSTARD HAM GLAZE (NOT SWEET AT ALL)
I couldn't find a true savory ham glaze, so I made up my own. It turned out so well, I just had to share! I bought a large ham (bone-in of course!) that I wanted to use the left overs, for other yummies later in the week. I don't necessarily like the sweet ham glazes, as it seems to linger with the leftovers. This will be great in scalloped ham and potatoes, ham and beans, omlets, sandwiches.. you name it! Hope you enjoy!! :)

Steps:
- 1. In a small bowl, wisk all ingredients together.
- 2. Pat ham dry with papertowel.
- 3. Schmear all over ham.
- I put mine in the slow cooker for 8 hours on low, or you could bake, roast, smoke, or grill the ham, depending on your preference. You could also marinate the ham before cooking, but I just didn't think about this until the morning of.
- I made a double batch of this to use as a dipping sauce as well. Delish!

- Place the ham in a shallow baking dish or roasting pan, fatty side up. (Your ham will most likely be a half ham, so you will place the ham cut side down.). Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and place in the oven to bake. Set a timer for 15-18 minutes per each pound.
- 45 minutes before the ham is done, combine the jam and the chipotles in adobo in a small dish.
- Remove the ham from the oven and uncover. With a sharp knife, score the top of the ham in a diamond pattern. Brush the glaze mixture over the top and sides of the ham.
