Summer White Sangria Clerico Recipes

WHITE SUMMER SANGRIA

Steps:

• Muddle the mint, honey and rum together in a large pitcher until well combined. Add the raspberries, lime wheels, peaches, cantaloupe and wine; stir well. Pour into glasses over ice, and enjoy, especially if it's a hot day!

SUMMER WHITE SANGRIA - {CLERICO} RECIPE

Steps:

• Place all fruit in a glass pitcher. Add 2 cups ice, lemon juice, orange and lemon rind, all the white wine and allow to sit in the refrigerator until just before serving. At the last minute, add sugar, to taste and soda, if desired. This recipe yields 5 to 6 servings.

CLERICO

Steps:

• To make, combine wine with brandy, lemon juice, and sugar in a 3-quart pitcher. Stir until sugar is dissolved, then add peaches, strawberries, and grapes. Let chill at least 2 hours and up to overnight. Mix in banana just before serving. Pour into glasses filled with ice, and use a spoon to scoop the wine-soaked fruit into each one.

SUMMER SHADE SANGRIA

Steps:

• Into a mixing glass, add blueberries and raspberries. Muddle until berries become a chunky mash. Add Cynar and stir to combine; then add bourbon and simple syrup, and stir. Chill mixture in refrigerator for 3 hours and up to overnight to allow berries to infuse the alcohol.
• Pour berry mixture and wine into a serving pitcher. Add lemon juice, orange juice, and ice to fill the pitcher; stir well to combine. Top with one handful each of blueberries and raspberries. Strain into glasses; add ice cubes and more berries to garnish before serving.
