- Combine the water, sugar, and fresh mint in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has dissolved, then remove immediately from the burner.
- Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes and then remove the mint and transfer to a large mason jar or another container for storage. Refrigerate until well chilled.
