The BEST Strawberry Swirl Fudge Brownies - These brownies are decadent, rich, and chocolatey with a colorful and delicious strawberry swirl!

9 oz 255 g cups fresh or frozen strawberries*, see note
1 1/2 cups 225 g all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups 375 g butter
12 oz 350 g chocolate
1 1/2 cups 300 g sugar
2/3 cup 200 g light brown sugar
6 eggs (room temperature)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 x 13 inch (22 x 30 cm) pan with parchment paper.
  • Place strawberries in a high speed blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Sieve puree to remove the seeds and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk flour and salt. Set aside.
  • Place the butter and chocolate in medium size saucepan over low heat until completely melted. Remove from heat and whisk in both sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Sprinkle the flour mixture over the chocolate mixture. Use a spatula to fold the flour until just combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread out to an even layer. Drizzle the strawberry puree over the bater and swirl using a table knife. Bake the brownies for 25-35 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through baking. Do not over bake!
  • Remove brownies from oven and cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into squares and enjoy!
  • Store brownies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

1 (21 ounce) package fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
1 cup strawberry (fresh or frozen-if frozen thaw and drain well)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped almonds (optional)
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
1/4 cup chocolate fudge topping
whipped cream

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325'.
  • Grease a 11x7x1 1/2 inch pan with pam spray or whatever you may have.
  • Mix together brownie mix,water,oil and eggs with a electric hand mixer or whatever you may have.
  • Add strawberries and blend all well together.
  • Stir in pecans,almonds(if using)and coconut.
  • Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
  • While baking brownies mix together caramel and fudge toppings and set aside til brownies are done. (if toppings are chilled warm in a small saucepan til creamy).
  • Pour over warm brownies and cool for 1 1/2hours on counter.
  • Serve with whipped cream and sliced strawberries.

  • Lightly coat an 1-quart soufflé dish or casserole* with cooking spray. Tear off an 18x12-inch piece of heavy foil; cut in half lengthwise. Fold each piece lengthwise into thirds. Crisscross the foil strips and place the dish in the center of the crisscross; set aside.
  • For batter, in a medium saucepan melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs, sugar, jam, applesauce, and vanilla. Using a spoon beat lightly until combined. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Pour batter into prepared dish. Cover dish tightly with foil.
  • Pour warm water into a 6-quart slow cooker. Using the ends of the foil strips transfer dish to cooker. Leave foil strips under dish.
  • Cover and cook on high-heat setting for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until an internal temperature of 170°F registers on an instant-read thermometer. Using foil strips carefully remove dish from cooker; discard foil strips. Turn off cooker. If possible, remove crockery liner from cooker. Cool for 30 minutes on a wire rack.
