Ingredients

1 (18 ounce) box strawberry cake mix
1/2 cup oil
2 tablespoons water
2 eggs
1/3 cup dried strawberries, chopped (optional)
1/4 cup sugar, for dipping tops of cookies (optional)

Steps:

Combine all ingredients.
Chill the dough about 1 hour to make it easier to handle.
Shape the dough into 1-inch balls,dip top of ball in sugar.
Place on a slightly greased cookie sheet,sugar side up, 2 inches apart.
Bake at 350 degrees 10 to 12 minutes.

This is a great cake mix cookie recipe. My family loves this type of cookie- They are quick and oh so easy; and they are so pretty on the dessert cookie tray! Great using chocolate,orange or lemon or other cake mixes too.

Ingredients

18 oz strawberry cake mix
1 large egg
8 oz strawberry cream cheese, softened
1 tsp strawberry extract
1/2 c real butter, softened
powdered sugar for rolling cookies in

Steps:

1. Cream together butter and cream cheese. Add egg and extract. Stir in cake mix, dry. Cover with plastic wrap and chill at least 30 minutes or longer. Preheat oven to 375^. When dough is easy to handle scoop into 1-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten down SLIGHTLY. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until cookies are light and puffy. Remove to cooling rack or paper.
