2 cups Big-Batch Beef Sauce
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 jar (4-1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
Hot cooked spaghetti

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the beef sauce, tomato sauce, mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Serve with spaghetti.

1 pound bulk Italian sausage
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
3 ounces uncooked spaghetti, broken into 1-inch pieces
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
3 tablespoons dry red wine or beef broth
1/2 teaspoon sugar
3 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Saute the sausage, onion and garlic in a large skillet for 5-7 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the spaghetti, parsley, basil, tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine and sugar., Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook 2-3 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

1/2 pound ground beef
3/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
3 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 can (2-1/4 ounces) sliced ripe olives, drained
Cooked spaghetti
Grated Parmesan cheese
Bacon bits, optional

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef and onions over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the tomato sauce, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. , Add olives; simmer 5 minutes longer. Spoon over spaghetti; sprinkle with cheese and bacon bits if desired.

1/4 cup chopped onion
2 cups meatless spaghetti sauce
1 cup water
3 ounces uncooked spaghetti, broken
1/4 pound reduced-fat process cheese (Velveeta), cubed
2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a nonstick skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, water and spaghetti; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. Add process cheese; stir until melted. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

½ pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 ½ cups water
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried parsley
½ pinch dried basil
½ teaspoon black pepper
4 ounces uncooked spaghetti

Steps:

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the onion until all pink is gone; drain.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, water, salt, parsley, basil and pepper; mix well. Heat until sauce boils. Break spaghetti in half and drop into sauce a little at a time. Cover and turn to low.
  • Cook until spaghetti is tender, approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking to pan and from noodles sticking together. Add water, 1/2 to 1 cup, if it starts to dry out and noodles are not cooked.

1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 cup chicken broth
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

Steps:

  • In a hot skillet, saute bell pepper and onion on medium-high for 5 minutes. Add garlic and saute one more minute. Stir in tomatoes and chicken broth. Remove from heat.
  • Place mixture in blender and blend until the desired level of chunkiness is achieved. Return to medium-low heat. Stir in tomato paste one tablespoon at a time until desired level of thickness is reached. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
